I am the lead specialist for the "Bright Ideas" campaign at one of the local Walmart Supercenters. I execute all of the product demonstrations from foods to electronics to video games and general merchandise. Does your Walmart have the "Bright Idea" demonstrators? You can't miss us...bright orange hats, aprons and carts!

I've never noticed this. There are food demonstrators ever so often, but they wear normal outfits (and only SOMETIMES plastic gloves). Even if I did see a demonstrator/demonstration of something, I probably wouldn't buy it unless it was Great Value or other generic brand version of the item...I'm too poor for brand name junk.

I work for CROSSMARk and we have a partnership with the Bright Idea company. We hire a bunch of people to do the demos like you do. I talk to reps every day that do what you are doing and they seem to enjoy it a great deal. I see the displays at my local walmart and I get excited because I wonder if the person doing the demonstation works for Walmart or for CROSSMARK!!! I had no idea how much went into things like that until I started for CROSSMARK.

This is an interesting discussion, and I work as a Courtesy Associate at our local Wal Mart and I really can not stand my job,and I am hoping that they move me to another position one day, such as people greeter, electronics, pets,or toys, and I have never heard of Bright Ides campaign and I am pretty sure my Wal Mart does not have that because I have never seen anyone in bright orange hats, aprons and carts, and I am sure that is something that would be hard to miss, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.
