A rude insurance agent

A week ago, my parents made a call to the property insurance agent to inquire about whether or not we can get some redemption from our insurance, due to the previous natural disaster, the flooding in the county where we resided. After my mom ask the question whether we can claim the damage, the agent instantly responded with a rude answer and a hostile tone; "Don't ever think your policy gonna cover everything with it; people are just taking advantage over their insurance whenever incident happens." Can you believe it? We simply ask the question. My mom felt so furious, and warned her about replacing property insurance when the term comes, and also file a complaint against her. I meant what kind of customer service is that?

I think you should report that insurance agent to his/her supervisor. If not, this person will probably do what she did to the other customers of the company. Such behavior will also affect the company image so I guess the company will appreciate your report and deal with the offending agent accordingly.

That is what I thought. I should report her attitude and manner to All states. I couldn't tolerate such service to my mom, because we are the paying customers, and we are such a loyal to All States for all these years. Now, she treated us like that, no way man.

Hi clorissa, some of them are trained to do this in the first place in the hope that it will intimidate the person from making a claim at all as some people will back away meekly from such an ignorant confrontation.
