I have an obsession for clean and orderly house. I know that is not to good, and all time i am very careful to have all ion order, because this i learned from my mother and my grandmother....but i have a friend who say that i am obsessed , because i put she, when come in visit to take off shes street shoes and i give a pair of slippers for house; of course that if somebody who i don t know very good, i will let him to enter with shoes...but usual, because is very clean, peoples ask me slippers before enter in my house; maybe they respect my house. So, i know that all peoples have so many to do every day, many have kids, a job...time is limitated, but...do you like to keep your home clean and orderly or is a total mess?

You know what? I have long wanted to have a house that is as clean as a five-star hotel. Before I do general cleaning once a week. But now, I cannot anymore maintain the house as clean as I thought it should be. There are kids at home and some members of the family are not much into cleaning up their own mess. That would be harder on my part. I wish that everyone would contribute to cleaning the house. I also wish that I could have the same liking as I used to before with regard to cleaning the house.

Well my house is not an mess, but its not perfectly clean. My room is probably the most messy in the whole house. There is not a lot of dust and I am sure there are very few germs since its cleaned once every 2 days or so. The things are just all over the place makking it disorganised. I let guests in without the need for taking off shoes.

The parts of the house that I inhabit most of the time are clean. The kitchen, family room, living room, dining room and downstairs bathroom are all clean all the time. My room is mostly clean, the kid's rooms and bathroom are a whole different story. Our master bath is so so, it is clean but cluttered I would say, and my laundry room is a mess at the moment, but I do laundry for a family of 5 it is pretty much impossible to keep that room clean, plus it is also our mud room and pantry. But the parts of the house that most people see are all very clean. I just try not to look at my kids rooms. Even when they "clean" them they are not clean to my standards.

My house is clean. I'm a guy and then i let the household chores are performed by others. If it was for me my house would be as the ancient temple. This is because i've no great desire to do clean.

I love when my house is clean; it makes me feel calm and peaceful. Unfortunately, my house is usually a mess. I let the clutter build up until it really bothers me or until company is coming and then I go on a cleaning spree. I've been in houses that were kept so clean that I couldn't relax in them, scared of changing the angle of a figurine or getting fuzz on the furniture. My old roommate's family was like that, really obsessive about their homes, everything had to be just a certain way and spotlessly clean. Those ladies would wear themselves out cleaning after family gatherings; no point offering to help, because no one's cleaning was as good enough. It's a hard way to live, if you ask me! But I do appreciate the feeling of being in a clean (not sterile!) house!

My house is typically clean and highly organized, the only time its really a mess is if I am working on a project of some sort and then it'll be messy until that project is complete.

Sitting or living in a clean room is really comfortable. In the past I had alot of time to do housework,so my friends always loved to stay my home at weekends.Unfortnately,I am working in a busy company now,so I have little time to keep it clean and tidy.So I have to invite my mother to live with me for some days.Beacause she is fond of doing housework,too.hehe.

hi ice, its always good to be in a clean surroundings.. peaceful to be in a very orderly room. but i am not a really organized freak. sometimes i like clutter, especially when all my nieces and nephews come to the house. they love pillow fight and sometimes the pillow breaks and uhhhhhhhhhh!!! well its not always, so i get to enjoy what they do as well. but am very glad because when i say to them that we need to clean up, they are very willing but of course always with terms, that i let them play again. well i think its fair. so i say yes. ann

I am an interior designer but I have to tell you that my house, especially my room, are very disorganized. It is actually because most designers' house are always "renovated" so the mess doesn't end (at least for me). I always come up of new design ideas that i would want to put inside the house so there's always work happening everywhere hehe. I really have plenty of stuff from high school and college too that I can't let go. I am the obsessive type and I don't want losing things. Hehe I think I am weird..

I am a guy that puts everything on the floor but every week I get mad that I don't have enough room and everything is every where so than I clean up everything. And its clean until the next time I put something on the ground. That's the way I act, I won't scream on someone if he does a mess. I will clean it up when he leaves and that all.

my house is fairly neatish and orderly and clean and i only work outside of the house part time so i do have time to clean it but i would really like to spend a week cleaning stuff that you dont always get time to clean like curtains etc.

My house is a complete mess as I hate housework and don't have the time to do much. I can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable in a person's house whereby everything is 100% perfect, but at the same time I envy their ability to keep it like that and wish mine was the same.

All japanese people offer slippers to their guests before making them enter the house. I think it's a very good thing to do and it prevents the floor from getting dirty and infested with germs and such. It's not anything exaggerated. Also, a clean house is a thousand times better than a dirty one of course, just try not to become obsessive with cleaning but that's all :) I for myself enjoy a clean house more and I do my best to keep it clean, especially because we have tons of animals :)

Well i have been having a good clear out now for well over a week so my house now is looking empty as well as tidy also all the floors are spotless.I have been clearing out clothes and old toys as well as going in the garden and giving that a good sort out.I think once you get into a routine then things do not take half as long to sort out as well as it is easier to keep on top of it.
