From where I stand, computer is really a part of my daily life. Without computer, I can not continue my life any longer. But sometimes, you may meet such a situation that your computer can’t work well and run very slowly, but you have no certain reasons. In fact, it is time to clean your computer. Now, I just meet such a problem. However, when I am ready to clean it, I get confused for having no good steps and ways. Anyone can give me some tips or opinions? How often do you maintain your computer? How to clean your computer and make it run faster?

Cleaning of your computer involves two things.First is to clean all the hardware and the other is to clean unnecessary files from your computer. Hardware cleaning has to be done very cautiously as static charge present in your hand can damage your computer. So it is better to call a technician to clean your pc. As far as software cleaning is concerned I have an article in my website. you can read it. www.computertipsandreviews.com/software tips/PC Mantainace Tips.aspx

I clean mine by using a damp cloth sprayed with anti bac spray over the key board, before that I tip it upside down to get dust out between the keys. Then get a cotton bud with anti back spray on it and very carefully take it between the keys. The screen just a very damp cloth, using a cotton bud in the recesses of the screen and surround.Hope this is useful.

Hey getbrowser! I just had my computer overhauled and totally cleaned out and I am so happy because it is running faster and I am having a few less glitches, at least so far! I know absolutely nothing about the workings of a computer on the inside! I had my "computer guy" who is very knowledgeable to do it for me as he does it as a side job and knows how to take apart a CPU in no time! He took my CPU totally apart, replaced the part that wasn't working and installed a little more memory! I am just happy to have it back and working again! I love you Jay!

Cleaning of a computer can be done in two ways. The first way is to clean all the hardware parts and the second is to clean the unnecessary files and programs from the computer. For Hardware cleaning it is recommended that you do with the help of a technician . For cleaning files of the os refer the link here : http://www.computertipsandreviews.com/PC Mantainance Tips.aspx

Hi you can start by warding off all the dust on your computer and its parts. Then you can proceed by first cleaning your key board and see if you have time to remove all keys and wash them.If you can, wash all the keys and keep them aside for drying, meanwhile till it gets dry do the cleaning of other things like speakers, woofers,CPU i mean the mother board,be care full while cleaning and clean everything with a dry clean cloth,do not use water for cleaning any parts except keys. You can also use a small tooth brush to remove dust in a better way.And make sure that you do not let any hair strands near computer, because sometimes it may get in somewhere and cause some struck in computer.

Hello get browser. I see you are having slow computer problems. Everyday, i use a program called CCleaner found here, http://www.ccleaner.com/ It cleans out junk files, temporary internet files, and all the other stuff that's junking your computer. Then i use Defraggler to defragment my hard drive every week. Dregragmenting your hard drive means to neatly order files together, for quicker computer responses. A good anti-virus for viruses than slow down is essential. I recommend using a anti virus program, and use MalwareBytes AntiMalware every week too. This can be found free here at, http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php. Thanks if i have helped you. Have a lovely and prosperous day!

First of all, there is the obvious. Don't let any liquid get into the inner parts. You can use a dry cleaner like what is used to clean or lubricate locks and keys, I think. Its best to consult with a computer technician about this but make sure you don't allow him to do the job for you. He will end up doing a simple job that you can do yourself for a good price that you don't really have to spend. Learn how to do it and do the job on your own and save your money. Also, this now occurs to me, you can check on the net for informnation on cleaning computers. It must be there somewhere - I'm sure.

Hi. You can begin by clearing out, through the control panel, any temporary internet files, and you can run "defrag" and such. Disk compression feature sometimes helps, but in reality, the best way is to pay a usually small sum to a professional to do the clean-up and such. You can also add extra ram memory, or again, if you don't know exactly how, have a pro do this for you. Karen

for clean your after use your computer from starting means after formatting use a best antivirus for your system and upgrade your ram and hdd for more speed. but any type of antivirus you use is make your system some slow from it's actual speed. just like 25% of any speed. i use my computer without antivirus and my computer works very fluently so i prefer no antivirus. have a nice day dude.
