One of my most favorite books of all time. it is a story of two friends, George and Lennie, who venture out to find their dreams. but the dream crashes when Lennie accidentally kills someone and they were hunted down. in order to spare Lennie from the painful death at the hands of the vengeful and violent mob hunting them, George shot Lennie in the back of the head. i think this is the ultimate show of friendship. George protected Lennie during their journey and until the last minute he still did not want his friend to suffer. If you were in George's shoes, would you do the same?
