A lot of people I know use Acer. I haven't. My preferred brands are Dell, Gateway and HP. Ive tried them all (laptop) and I love them. Value for money is important when I choose a brand and their products are worth every penny. In my purchases, I try to compare a model in each brand and I choose from there.

i know that sony vaio's quality is good then but here i cant afford its price here in philippines =(

Value for money is important when I choose a brand and their products are worth every penny. In my purchases, I try to compare a model in each brand and I choose from there. I guess you also have to consider the availability of the brand's repair center in your area so that u won't have a hard time having repair services or buying original spare parts when u need it.
