Obsessed!

I wasn't aware of it until I read your post so I went and found the video and oh boyyyyyyy! Who wouldn't be obsessed if they got that close to her - or is she obsessed with herself? She has a great voice and I really enjoy what she does but this does seem particularly comercialised and oh well... she's got it so why not use it?

I am a fan of Mariah Carey but sad to say i have not listen to her latest single entitled "Obsession". I will check her song on youtube. Please enlighten me why this song is controversial? Thanks!

WEll welll well... It's been a long time since i last heard any pop songs, or english songs.. lol =D I do know that mariah has got a new song, but i dunno what song is that.. hehe ^_^ MAybe i should do a search on it, listen, before commenting more on that song.. haha =D All i know is that, she used to be a very good and powerful singer, but in the recent years, her singing power has weakened by alot, to the extend she's no longer singing with 'vibrance' and 'echo' in her voice.. hehe

It does have a very catchy melody. The kind that could possibly get stuck in your head at times right?^_^ It is indeed another great song from Mariah, but one that is not just unfounded. I mean, there is truth to the meaning of the song. There are just some people who have this intense admiration for celebrities that they would do anything to just be close to them as possible. Some might even wanna be them or replace the real ones. Kinda like the movie "Single White Female". Though there are those good kinds of obsession. The ones that understand that they could be obsessed with a certain celebrity but still knows their boundaries about being an obsessive fan and would never try anything crazy just to get closer.

I’ve just seen the video; she plays the male part too, right? I did hear that this song is a dig at Eminem. The man in it sure could be him. I don’t know if it’s true but the video is interesting and the song is good. I find Mariah Carey a bit too self absorbed but she is gifted, can’t deny that!

I have no idea what to believe in the world of show biz. And looking at that song, it's hard to tell who is obsessed with whom. If she has gone ahead and made a song about him, then I would say she is obsessed with him..LOL.. But she does have an awesome voice!

Yup I guess its is another great song by Mariah Carey. Well about controversies? No1 knows what's true and what isn't, controversies can be pretty true and completely false too. So, lets just enjoy the music.

Hi, zed_k4. I like it because it shows Mariah in a whole different light. She looks more sexier and prettier. The guy in the video actually is Mariah herself. She makes a cute looking dude though. I love this video, Mariah has really out done herself this time! It is not controversy. Just another great song from Mariah herself!
