If you could turn back the hands of time which age would you chose and why? I would go back to when I was 40 because who ever said Life Begins at 40" was right.

personally, I wish I could back to my early puberty, when I started having serious communication pbs with my parents and I would try to prevent them in any possible way so now I would be on good terms with them :)

I know exactly what you mean. It took me 35 years to become my mother's friend. We still had our differences but somehow we always managed to overcome them by ROFLOAO. But somehow it stings a little when you think of how many years were wasted. Thanks for response

Personally I can't see what puberty has to do with anything. If you mean in your early teens then I can empathize. However, please don't place all the blame on your parents. I am sure that they meant well based on their own experience. Just because you don't think they understood you is no reason to put the blame on their shoulders. Life is a two-way street. Also it's like a sewer....you get out of it only what YOU put into it. Take responsibility for your life and if it has't been what you had hoped for dont put the blame on someone else.

I'm not trying to put the blame on them. I just want to take the initiative to create a different relationship with them based on a more open communication. at that respective age I had some atmpts to do that, but I backed up and became an introvert at the first signs of them not agreeing with what I was saying or doing. anyway, I am not laying the blame on them, because I know they mean what is best for me, but both my parents and I made mistakes which now cannot be repaired so easily

That's great. It looks like you're on the track if you accept the fact that you made mistakes and have, evidently, tried not to make the same ones again. Appreciate your input.

If I could go back the hands of time, I would go back the time when I was still in high school. It is the happiest time of my life. When I am beginning to know what is right and what is wrong. ANd beginning to recognize the beauty of life.

The early twenties were nice... Everything was much firmer then and I had a lot more energy too! Glad to hear that I have something to look forward to though, thanks!

Thanks for responding. The twenties were good but I have found that the older you get the more you enjoy life.

Knowing what i know now i'd definately go back to high school. Look out girls. I was awkward and untalkative back then but now i talk freely to girls. I wish i had that quality back then. However i am only 26 an i am looking forward to the rest of my life. On my current plan i'll be retired in 3 years. I can't wait till then so i can enjoy life and have more time with the kids. Hope you enjoy life well into the future.

Thanks for your response. If you are planning an early retirement I take it that you have been successful despite your awkwardness in high school. Best of luck.

Good answer. I can't decide whether you didnt finish high school, you cant get a job or you think that education is the key to the future. Might I add that if the first hits the nail on the head..... u might consider going to night school to finish up or take a GED test to prove that you can finish high school education. Thanks for responding.

Thanks for response. Sounds like a great idea to me. A good education can't hurt no matter how you shake it.

i would go back to february 17, 2006 (when i was 21) which was the happiest day of my life...or i'd go back to march 12, 2006 to stop myself from doing the biggest mistake of my life and losing the best thing that ever happened to me

Thanks for the response. Becoming 21 wasn't that exciting for me.....just another hohum day. While we can't erase our mistakes we can all certainly learn from them by not making the same ones again. The Spanish philosopher Santyana once said.....if man cannot learn from his mistakes he is doomed to repeating them.....a rough translation.

I would go back to high school for two reasons: first of all, because unlike most kids, I had a blast. It was the most carefree time of my entire life. Second, so that I would hav emy mind made up about what I wanted to study in college instead of stumbling around for a few years trying different things, wasting time while my peers are making moves in their professional careers.

Thanks for responding. I had a blast in high school also especially with the extra curriclar activities. But I had my life planned out with goals to accomplish....which, happily, I achieved and then after 40 I began to reap the rewards.

Thanks for your response. I know the feeling. I would love to go back to Thanksgiving 1956 and tell my stepdad that I loved him. I often wonder if he knew because I never told him and I have regretted it.

I don't think I would want to go back in time just yet. I'm hoping the best years are still ahead!

That's certainly one way of looking at it. But I think in everyone's life he/she has thought they would like to go back either to reminice or change something. We don't know what the future holds.....we can only live today and remember tomorrow. Appreciate input.
