Who Comes First?

Suppose that you are a young guy. You are recently married to a beautiful lady of your choice. You are married to the girl that you love. You have your mother at home too, whom you love a lot. There is an important document that you were waiting to be delivered at your doorstep. Who would you tell first - your wife or your mother?

oh thats a bad situation! The bible says leave the father and mother and become one with your spouse.

It depends who is standing nearer to me, most probably I'd tell my husband first, as we always share the same thoughts and he understands me much better, though I have good relationship with my mother too. Something is just better to share with our partner, rather than our parents.

Hmm.. I don't see the reason why I must choose. I mean, you could both call them in the living room or something then you'd announce that you're expecting something. That could work without choosing at all.
Further, I think most probably it'll be the wife who knows first, because though you're living in the same home with your mother, you sleep beside your wife, so you would get to tell her first. Unless your mother is sleeping beside the both of you though, now that's weird.
