Before u finished ur words,others broke in and talked about their own business..

This is so annoying. You know what I hate even more? When people apeak over the top of you and then don't ask you afterwards what you were saying. Just like what you were saying never existed and doesn't matter. It annoys me soo much and it is so rude. When it happens to me I just wait until they're finished and say "as I was saying..." and continue what I was saying. Usually the person who butt in will say "oh sorry..".

Cognitive problems are one of the many symptoms of my disease. Because of this, I speak slowly and frequently pause to collect my thoughts. Thus, I rarely get to finish a thought when in a group. I may be hanging my excuse on the wrong nail, but whatever the reason for my slow speech, it has made me tolerant of interruptions. Sometimes with my husband or very close friends, I will interrupt them and tell them that I wasn't through talking. What does annoy me no end is when my husband interrupts me to finish my statement, especially when he doesn't know what I was going to say. Frequently he doesn't even know the subject matter.

Interrupting someone is terribly rude, and very bad manners, isn't it. It's very hard when someone is interrupting me on the phone. It could be forever until I would be able to restart my train of thought. My sister still does this sometimes to me or my mom when she is visiting one of us. When I was a teenager I used to point it out to my sister how rude that was. Now that I'm older it isn't worth the fight. My sister can create quite a scene!

I think that these people do not realize how rude they look to others. And the people that you are talking to, should have interrupted them and said "Excuse me, but we were in the middle of a conversation." instead of letting them finish and listening to what they were saying. I can't stand people like that. I don't mean that I hate them, I just wished that they would learn some manners and take a look at themselves and see how they appear to others. I am sure that they have no clue. But yet, they continue to do well in this world. Then again, maybe they do realize what they are doing. Maybe they think what they have to say is important to them, so everyone else should stop what they are doing and listen. I think this is why I was so shy for so many years in my life. And now, I still am in person, but will be more apt to talk to someone on the phone. I guess that is because it is a one on one conversation.

I always feel offended whenever I have been cut during a discussion or story telling but what I just do is let this person finish his/her story so that I can continue my statement but if I was not given an opportunity to continue then I would just think that it is his/her lost for not listening to me. lol
