What do you think about t he fact that the hospital has merged with another and they have all these new residents on there? It is kind of distracting. I guess Izzy Stevens is off the show permanently. Chandra wilson who palys Bailey was on Private Practice last week. She may end up leaving the show as well.

Yes last nights show was a bit nuts. So much going on at one time with so many doctors it is a little distracting. I guess Stevens is gone and the new girl getting fired last night. We shall see what happens next week.

I think they are trying to add too many new characters at once. They should just concentrate on the characters that they have. I think too many characters distracts from the character of the show. I think there are a lot of people that are kind of extraneous and really dont need to be on there. That is just my opinion however.

Yes I agree totally with you. I'm sure they could come up with more of a storyline for McSteamy and his girlfriend, and the chief and his wife or a new love interest for him.

I can't see who has responded because I'm answering from my e-mail so you may already know this. Izzie isn't leaving. Katherine Heigl wanted time off to do a movie, so they wrote her out of about five episodes. She'll be back. Chandra Wilson isn't leaving either. They did a crossover to try to help the ratings of Private Practice.

I guess they did that for drama and to generate new storylines, but I'm not finding it as good. Yes, I think I saw sometime back that Heigle(Izzy) said on a late night talk show that she was leaving and this was just weeks after saying on a morning show that she was staying but apparently the first statement really meant she was returning this season and the second meant she would be leaving after a few shows.

I don't have cable anymore so i haven't been able to watch this season. I knew izzy was going to leave. I haven't heard anything about Bailey leaing but I hope she doesn't. She is one of my absolute favorite characters!!!
