Have you ever walked outside in your underwear to get the mail?

I have never walked outside in my underwear to get the mail. My friend has and he did not even care that he was doing it. I could not imagine what the neighbors thought. I would be so embarassed. I just could not do something like that. Its not right to expose yourself like that outside in public. What if there were children around. That would ruin the fragile little minds. I don't think it is a good situation at all. I am always clothed when I go get the mail. I have to admitt it would be alittle funny to see someone do it though. I hope that I would never have to see something like that.

It's not funny anyway,and yes,thu people in this era are liberated compared 40 yrs ago,but being outside home with just underwear...ugh...what's in the world your friend has in mind huh?...not unless he is an exhibitionist

Ok when I lived in New York I would run in my robe to get the mail never in my underwear. Now in New Mexico I have to dress completely because my mailbox is five houses up the street. So I couldn't go in my underwear or robe. LOL LOL LOL

Hi tuckersheri, what a truly ridiculous idea, do you know how far I have to go to get my mail and how many people I would have to pass? We don't all have postmen who come along bad roads with our mail you know, there are many in the world who need to go and collect it from a public place. 
An aside here, why is the mail left outside if the postman is kind enough to come to your house in the first place, why can't you just have a letterbox in your front door as they do in the UK?

I never did that. Most of my neighbors have relatives working in Police Department and they might arrest for indicent exposure.

I am not and evn my husband is not doing such a thing. We are properly dress whenever we go outside of the house. But I have seen our neighbor before does. It is not actually the breifs but it was the boxers, and a sexy type. It is not really pleasant to look at pleople who are doing that. As if they are not aware of the people around them.
