Artist or Song Title?

Whenever you make a playlist in your i-pod or mp3 player you choose songs that you like, or whatever tracks which falls in the category that you're in the mood listening at that moment. As a habit, where do you look first? Do you select songs through artist's name or from the title tracks? As for me, I am more comfortable in selecting the songs choosing from the artist's name. In that way, I would know the style or theme that I'm creating.

When I want a certain "mood" to listen to, I always go to my playlists first because sometimes when I opt for the artists names or the entire title tracks they aren't usually all the same. And being a little OC that I am, I sifted through all of my songs and created a playlist for songs that creates/suits my different moods.

I sort my tracks according to the songs that I like and not artist specific.

hi mchavez11, I actually sorted out my favorite tracks by its genre...from hiphop/rnb to acoustic, from rock to alternative. So if i'm in the mood of playing rnb/hiphop music...it will be easier for me to navigate my tracks. I also have "my current favorite tracks" that I set on my playlist...these are up to date or current songs that I like.
