hi there, i'm looking for horror movies, and i would like to take the scariest horror movies ever made. can anyone help me find some scary horror movies? and in your opinion what is the scariest horror movie ever made? where and when did you watch it? For example i like the blair witch project beacause it's strange, it's like an amateur movie, so it's like to be one of the actors.

For me the scariest movies I ever watched are 13th Ghost,Excorxist and Long Kong ( Thailand movie ).The best way to enjoy those movies you must be alone and in rainy day with thunder and light. You can feel the fear factor.Try it.

Try watching Paranormal Activities.. its an idie film and not shown in cinemas nationwide yet. Right now they have this campaign, they have to collect 1 million signatures in order for it to be release by paramount... I haven't watch it yet, but I'm intrigue why it was so controversial. Try search the net about this.

One that I would recommend id the Exorcist 3, it is more physiological horror rather then relying on gore or shocks. I think you would like it

The Ring series were brilliant, the original ones not the silly remakes.

Well, there were many scariest horror movies that I have watched and screamed my lungs out , but the one I can recall at the moment is the 'Mirrors'. I think I watched it last year at the cinema with my hubby. It was pretty scary because after we watched the movie, we could still imagine that there's really something behind the mirrors and that was creepy!

i like SAW but it's not so scary, it's more splatter than scary. i don't like hostel, to much blood and no story behind.

Nosferatu, the silent movie, is VERY scary! No blood, no real violence, but it will send chills down your spine and make you lock your doors and windows at night! Horror movies have degenerated into festivals of blood and gore in the past 30 years, ignoring what really scares people. I find the scariest horror movies are actually books. Dean Kootz's "Phantoms" was just about the most horrifying book I have ever read and the movie paled by comparison. I would advise you to start reading. The printed word relies on you imagination, which can scare you worse than the best movie on a screen!

For me the scariest movie was the Exorcist,I was raised to fear the devil.By watching this movie I was so afraid I was inviting him into my world.I couldn't sleep for weeks after watching this, and I didn't make it through the whole movie.

for me, chinese and korean horror movies are the scariest of all that i have ever seen. i like the sense of being too quite and mystery. their movies are mostly ghosts which scares me more than zombies.

For this year movie I haven't found one, but, last year I've watched and selected two (2) as the horror movie which are The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM) and Ghost Car (GC). The serial killing plots really made my eyeballs glued to the screen on watching TCM, where at the beginning never expect that brutal type of killing. About GC, many suspense plots focus on the car which ignited itself. Looking forward to watch Ghost Ship.
