I think that the original TV series was much more interesting and had better actors than the newest versions. I wouldn't pay a plug nickle to go and see them. I saw the first one only because it was on TV and there was nothing else more interesting to watch at the time. Does anyone else think as I do?

Boy, do I agree with you! That was one of my all time favorite TV shows. I never missed it. Can you imagine how I felt when I got to meet Peter Lupus (played the good looking strong guy, Willy or Willie)? He was one of the buyers of a condominium project I worked for back in the mid 70s, and was one of the nicest gentlemen I've ever met. He sure made you feel like you were important when he talked with you. I already knew one of his partners because the law firm I used to work for had prepared his condominium documents before he built it. Two nice guys that I still respect today for their attitudes toward working people. We had brains and they realized it. I'll never forget either of them. My kids also loved that show and were quite impressed when I called them to come down to the office and meet Peter Lupus. We lived on site (nice perk), so they got to meet him also.

Would have loved to have met JW and HH also. I still love to watch so many of the old TV shows you mentioned. I'm just glad that we can see them on several cable channels now. Thanks for the Best Response.

Who wouldn't remember that hunk. We're getting on the local RTP Memory Channel. II watch it when I can.....sometimes I tape it. Right now I'm sitting here trying to remember the others in the show that on right now. I can see their faces but for the life of me I can't get the names.. It was the husband and wife team that was on 1999. Jeez that ticks me off. Oh well maybe it will come to me. I've met a couple of stars too....John Wayne and Helen Hayes....both were super. Just has small talk for about 10 mins but it was great. She in Cuernavaca, Mexico.....he is Barcelona. I also watch The Saint with Roger More, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Colombo was on not too long ago, also Twilight Zone. I'm waiting for Murder, She Wrote to come back.

I couldn't agree with you more. The old series is now playing here in Portugal on the Memory Channel and I watch as many as I can. Fortunately for me I haven't seen a repeat....or maybe it's because they are so old I don't remember them....either way I'm a winner. Always nice to see you suscan.

Honest response. If you haven't seen the original that it would make it difficult for you to make a comparison. Thank you for response.

I loved the original Mission Impossible series. The Tom Cruise remakes don't hold a candle to the original. I watched the first one. I know I watched the second, but can't remember for the life of me what it was about. The third, forget about it! If I can't remember #2, why watch #3?
