have u ever lost ur pet

I understand how you feel about it, i had a German Shepard also, and someone poisoned it, it was 6 years old, and a very cheerful dog, i loved it, but one day, because an evil person put how knows what on his food, he became upset, and on my house everybody thought it was just a stomache ache, but it was a poisoned. My poor dog didn´t had a chance to get well, even then i never moved from his side, and still cared for him, until he passed away. It was one of the saddest moments of my life, the feeling of impotence, the loss of a great friend, and in my opinion of a family member. I said i was never getting another pet in my life, and i really didn´t get any for a few years, until a stray dog came to my life, and i couldn´t let it alone in the world, i´m now the proud owner of a border collie, he is a real good dog, but even if i do love it with all of my heart and soul, it never will replace my good old dog. I realize dogs are really unique, and each one it´s wonderfull in it´s own way. So i hope you find another dog to give your friendship to

I know the feeling I had a dog that a neighbor abandoned when they moved. So our landlord let us keep him along with my dog Rascal. Well Scruffy my new dog got along fine with Rascal when I wasn't there. When I was there they were jealous and both always wanted my attention. One night and this has been over 10 years ago I made the mistake of giving them a bone and the next thing is they started fighting over the bone. By the time I pulled them apart Scruffy had the worst of it. We had to rush him to the Vet and his eye socket was torn up. He had damage to his head and the Vet said we had to put him down. It was the hardest thing I had to do and I still to this day feel guilty about it. I still think about him and treasure the short time I had with him. He was a great little dog and I know I will see him again in Dog Heaven. I do have another dog now and hope you have another pet and this experience doesn't stop you from wanting to have another animal. There are lots of them out there. As sad as it is when it is their time to go there will be another one who will claim another piece of your heart. I can't ever see myself without a dog they are the best pets to have.

If you own pets one of the worse things is loosing them, even if you protect them their whole lives those lives are relatively short. We have always had pets and so have suffered the lost of many. It doesn't get easier, but you have great memories and realize that you made a good life for your animals. Accidents do happen and we have also lost pets in those, this is always a regret but you realize that mistakes happen to all of us and do not give up the wonderful love available to you through pets. Many years ago now! I lost my pet dog and his name was Patch! I remember it being very painful at the time. There was something wrong inside and it was the recommendation of the vet that he be put down and laid to rest as it were. I do get jealous now when I see other dog owners enjoying time with their pets, I really crave some of that! Still, the future isn't totally dark! I'm hoping that I will get another dog one day but the finances just don't permit this at the present time. Dogs are wonderful company and they really do accept you and offer you unconditional love! plan to get another pair of syberian mouse since i still have there cage but dnt have time yet to visit a pet shop since im busy ds days....

Recently we had a really bad storm with very heavy rain and really strong wind. We had a Budgie cage outside with my 4 pet budgies and unfortunately te wind was so strong it blew the cage over. That would have been ok except the to of the cage came off and the budgies all flew off to no doubt the lunch of a bigger bird :( I know they are only birds but I was sad for a few days!

i had a kelpiw x dog. he was put down when we was only 12months and 2 days old because he barked at an elderly woman, making her 'distressed'. it was very upsetting, not just because he was my best friend but also because there was always the question of why? why did he have to be put down? he was so young and he wasnt vicious.

I have lost to many pets, part of my family. From a black Lab to now a Bouvier. The Lab was when I was 3, i am now alllllot older , now smarter and still have dogs as part of my family. 1 not taking the place of the others, just another adition.. Try it it will make u stronger.. I lost a Bouvier to a car accident, Bree, I will always remember... REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U.. NOW AND FOREVER..

I like pets very much they are very cute.I have my pet dog in my home it is very funny i never live with out my pet dog.Everyday i will take care of my pet dog,one day my pet dog went some other place i never find my dog at my home.I was so worried on that day later i find my dog in another house.So some pets will go every where so keep it chain to them when ever we went outside.
