How is the current economy hurting you and your lifestyle?

The present economy is hurting my spending in terms of clothing and beauty products. Though I don't buy them frequently, I've always pampered myself with new clothes almost once every two months before, make-up was my gift to myself as well. Not to mention the abundance of food I store. Nowadays it's more of the 'basic needs' and no longer the extra luxuries including in food.
How is the current economy hurting you and your lifestyle? Any huge changes?

You know what, when recession wasn't in the air, I was working and just before recession hit the world, I resigned from my job. Hence I was jobless when it got started. Yes, it hurt me in a way that I didn't get the job which I was looking for and still I am not in the job of my choice but the good thing is that I have the job with me and I can earn money to feed my family., isn't that good
