Does gossip have a place at work?

Gossips are very hard to avoid especially when you have already established a friendship or a deeper relationship with your co-workers. And when you have already shared I have experienced that before wherein I trusted one of my co-worker and at the end of it all, she back stabbed me and I had nothing else to do but to let it pass. It really depends if the gossip is just for fun and it does not concern or will not hurt a colleague, then that's fine. Otherwise it will just ruin a friendship.

GOSSIP is everywhere. It's a part of the journey. if you will allow yourself to be affected well then you are not a strong person. Gossip will pull you down until you've lost everything. You can't please everybody and can't explain everything to the. Just don't mind people likes to gossip.

I don't think it could be avoided even if companies or the administration would apply great lengths to avoid those. People are bound to talk. Unless the company is really keeping everyone shut through tight schedules. I think it's okay to have gossip, as long as they keep it at a minimum and there won't be a riot or problems in line with gossiping. Our company doesn't have too much gossip because we're too busy to talk about anything in the first place, plus gossip comes up when people are idle.

Gossip have a presence where two or more peoples work together and have time to talk. Yes it is true, we just only control our mind on any memory (which can be reason of gossip) while talking about some important facts. Then we got gossip free environment at office.

when i was still working, gossip is really present in our workplace. it's really a habit of people to talked bad behind the person.so sad that it's very rampant and sometimes it's really irritating.hope the management will give them a memo.lol
