I used to use Squidoo a lot but after about a year I found that Google wasn't indexing the pages they way they were at the start and I slowly stopped using Squidoo. Is anyone still using Squidoo and if so what can you tell me that will help me?

My lenses keep getting locked so I am slowly moving away from squidoo. Also its hard to put the lenses in rotators because of the frame breakers. It seems a lot has changed on squidoo since the start. They got the quantity members and now it seems they are working on the quality lenses, hence all the rules. I still like squidoo but dont spend as much time there any more.

I don't do a lot with Squidoo and actually got so busy with my blogs I forgot about it for more than a year. I like using lenses to link back to my blog pages as Googgle still indexes them quickly.

That was one good point I liked about them. Just not working out these days for me and squidoo.

I started with Squidoo a few months back and have been slowly adding lenses since then. I'm up to 16 now and I'm getting around 275-300 hits per week. The traffic increases as I update and add content to the lenses. New ones don't get much traffic at first but there are several things you can do to increase traffic. Keep the lenses updated with new content on a regular basis. Use the "health" tool for each lens and make sure you're good there. Add more relevant tags to your lenses. Add text content that is "keyword rich" for what the lens is about. Add modules that make it fun and interesting to the visitor, like voting modules. Link your lenses to each other by adding a "featured lenses" module in each one. Link to your lenses from anywhere on the net you can, your blog, your MyLot profile, twitter, facebook, myspace, write articles, etc. I'm going to keep adding lenses and see how much I can get my monthly income up to with Squidoo. I really like the potential with them and that they make it so easy to monetize the pages. You should give them another try.

Hey it's MillerTime It's been a while since I have even bothered to go back to Squidoo. It's been out of my mind for more than a year I think. Maybe I will go back and see what I can do with the tips you have left here. Thanks for the inspiration
