Are you still using umbrella?

Am just curious because I can seldom see people using umbrella here in US. In my country, most people around, have umbrellas because it is too hot, and sometimes the rain will just pour without warning. But in my case, I am not bringing umbrella all the time because I usually forget and left it anywhere. I end up buying umbrellas every now and then. What about you? is it important for you to have one? or just remember to have an umbrella when it is raining? Some people, they have it in their car so that anytime they need it they have it. What about you?

I am still using umbrella till now. In my country the weather are always unpredictable. When you think that there is no rain after a sunny sky appear, in an hour or so , it will turn to thunderstorm. So it is always better to take an umbrella along.

Oh!! where are you from? That weather is similar to the Philippines. and yeah, umbrellas could prevent us from the heat of the sun and from the rain.

Im from Malaysia and it rains and shine all year round. Even the weather forecast by our experts here always make mistakes. I often got fooled by them when I checked my weather forecast for the next day. It always turned the other way round

i only use one if it's absolutely pouring. we don't get monsoon rains in my area,so we usually have plenty of advance warning if it might rain.

I always put a triple folding umbrella in my handbag. It has become my habit. When it's summer, it's a sun umbrella (its cover includes anti-ultraviolet coating); other seasons, it's just an umbrella. I also tell my friends in this way. Triple folding structure makes it's smaller and more convenient. And it's also light to carry. So I don't worry about rainy day, even if it's raining suddenly.

that's right!! I noticed that almost all ladies in the Philippines are carrying bags and they can easily slip in the umbrellas in it. But here in America? seems like only older people have bags hahaha well, if some have bags they are too small for the umbrella. They call it here purse... so, it's hard to accommodate umbrella in a purse? hehehe

Yes i always carry along with umbrella-- not the folded one, the classic umbrella- the one that is long. I not only use it for rain and to shield me from the heat of the sun but is use it as my defense for any possible trouble from crazy people around. Umbrella is a "security blanket" for me. Our country has ony two season, sunny and rainy days...you need to have an umbrella for both season.

I don't like using umbrellas. They're a nuisance to carry around, they're heavy, and my hand gets all tired and cold from it when it's raining. I usually just either always wear a hat or wear a jacket with a hood in case of sudden rain. But my parents and my brother carry around umbrellas. My mom likes to keep one in her car, my brother has a small one that he carries in his back pack, and my dad will just simply carry around an umbrella if it looks like it might rain.

hahaha!!! you are funny!! so then, you are the only one in the family who doesn't like umbrella? anyway, jackets with hood will help too.

Yeah, I'm the only one. None of my family likes to wear hats: for my parents, I guess they're not into the look or whatever, and for my brothers, they don't want to mess up their hair (you won't believe how long they spend in the bathroom gelling up their hair). It's kinda ironic I don't like umbrellas because I've got this giant-sized umbrella sitting in my closet. It's nothing like I've ever seen before. It's a double umbrella (just imagine two umbrellas fused at the side to form a bigger umbrella, and it looks like that).

I have a really small umbrella which fits snugly into my everyday bag (which is a sack in any case LOL) so I am always carrying an umbrella. Umbrellas are very common in India for reasons you have stated. In the height of summer when the sun is overhead, its advisable to use the umbrella to protect one from sunstroke and during the monsoons, the umbrella is of course compulsory. And then you do have unseasonal rain, so its always convenient to have my umbrella handy.

Oh really? that's what I feel too when I was yet in my country. I think that umbrella is a must.. and here comes the ladies with colorful umbrellas..But now? I don;t care about umbrellas because I can not use it all the time. There's no need of one now where I am. not everyday.

In my country, whether it is summer or rainy season, I bring folded umbrella all the time either raining or shining to avoid possible sickness or diseases brought by the changing climate either day or night.

hahaha.. really? the umbrella is a trademark for Filipinos. They are very particular with the heat of the sun. When it rains, ladies preferred umbrellas than raincoats and that is in the Philippines. That is why their trade mark is Umbrellas.. ahahaha

Well, everyday i bring with me my umbrella. I use the folded one so that it can be placed inside my bag. It is good to be always ready for the rain. I have something to use also when the weather is sunny. It can protect our skin from harmful heat }of the mid-morning sunlight. [em]

Well i always carry an umbrella if it's rainy seasons, since there's only two seasons in my country anyway, and i prefer umbrella than raincoat, because walking under the rain with a raincoat will make heads turn, it's rather uncommon unless if you're riding a motorcycle.

i have started carrying a small umbrella which can be kept in my ladies bag . it rains less in this part of my country but umbrella is basically needed to protect from the scorching heat.last year i developed photosensitivity from that time onwards i have made it a point to carry on in my purse.previously i had been very careless about it and lost a few of them in the similar fashion as yours.

I(t may not look cool but i still use an umnrella. When it's pouring down rain and you have to make a mad dash to your destination, it's better to get there dry under an umbrella than soaking wet without one. We keep several umbrellas in the house, but we also have one in the car for emergencies.

Well, they say that having an umbrella is too girly. Tell us that when you get sick! Hahaha. So when I have the chance and it is raining so hard, I take with me an umbrella, even if it's pink!

oh!! hahaha when you need one? you will never think of the color even if you are a boy. Just think of the benefit it would give you. I don't think only girls used umbrellas because I have seen many men using it too?

hi..... According to me, i have an umbrella. But i used it very rarely.Because i usually forget it here and there as you. I love the Rain and i like to play in rain.So I don't like to use umbrella in rainy season..I like the drizzle very much..I like to watch the rain drops, which give me the freshness. I had played in rain many times and it was a wonderful experience. But in Summer season, in my country warmness increases day by day.Sometimes very difficult to suffer it. So i always wish to use it in summer, but when leave home to office i always forget to take it. I think we should need an umbrella..But its usage is optional. Now we can get nano umbrellas with water resistive cover. So we can keep it in pocket or handbag. Then we can use it whenever needed and keep it back in pocket or handbag after usage.

I try to remember taking my umbrella with me when it is raining. But 4 days ago I think.. I was in a hurry and i forgot it home. Lucky me... a really "nice" rain came. Before I got home, my clothes were heavy because of the wather in them. So be carefull not to forget it, when you really need it.
