After last night's call against the Yankees, do you thing they should have instant replays for baseball? All other sports seems to have it.

Definitely yes. I would like to see it in slow motion. There are lots of new technologies today that can capture high speed motion and replay them instantly. That would be very much a very good feature and will attract more followers than before.

After what I have seen in these playoffs, instant replay is a must. How hard is to get instant replay? You have an extra ump sitting in a luxury box with a dvr player and can rewind the plays to review. Last night all I heard about was that double play that was called when the guy was clearly safe. That possibly cost the Phillies a run or two if Howard came through with a hit. Then the Yankees get called for a double play when Howard didn't even catch the ball, but it bounced off the ground. Would have been easy to walk over to the screen and watch the replay. My idea is put an ump up there to watch the plays and the homeplate umpire should have a bluetooth headset that can be used to communicate with the upstairs ump so things are done quickly without long delays. This offseason they should enact a replay system as the umps continue to show that some plays they just can't call.

I think absolutely yes. Last night (October 31) in game 3 of the World Series, Alex Rodriguez hit a shot to right field that was considered a "double" after hitting a camera. Rodriguez then argued the call on the field, and the umpires discussed it and used instant replay to determine the call. The call on the field of a "double" was reversed, and was counted as a home run. After seeing a replay myself, it did hit the camera that was OVER the fence, making the ball bounce back into play. This was the first time a call was ever reversed in the World Series. After seeing this, there is no question in my mind baseball should have instant replay.

yes, I agree too. They have in football why not baseball. Then it will more accurate and fair game for both teams. There are so many variables in baseball on how the ball is hit or how out the out played or where the ball goes if was in bounds or foul ball. The umpires eyes are only so good. have you ever notice that umpires do not where glasses. If there are some I have not seen any. Have a wonderful night Sincerely Unique16

Yes I think so. If they can have it for other sports I don't see why not for baseball. It would make it a bit more fair I think for both teams playing the game.
