Do you enjoy studying Chiese?

Now as China is becoming more and more influential in every aspect, many peole around the world are becoming crzay about learning Chinese. Are you studying it or do you plan to study it? What do you think of it if you have known it?

I'm trying to learn some Chinese at the moment. Certain circumstances has led me to moving to Taiwan, which is why I'm trying to learn the language. But I gotta say, it's pretty hard to learn. I have a lot of difficulty with the various tones and pronounciations. And I haven't even tried learning how to write the characters yet (trying to focused more on recognizing it than writing it at the moment).
