During my childhood days, my father used to dance a ballroom type. He always encourage my mom to dance with him. And aside from that, a friend told us that dancing can also reduce some fats that is being formed in our body. Thus, dancing can also be a form of exercise because of the movement that it creates to our body.

It hugly depends on what dance it is, there's no doubt whatsoever that all forms of dances involve movement to some degree, but some do more than others. Foxtrot for instance would let our hearts beat way faster than a slow waltz. The more intense a dance is, the more fat is being burned as a result of cardiovascular activity and a boosted metabolism

Good day to you. Thanks a lot for the information that you have shared. However, I am not aware what is Foxtrot Dancing. Anyway, thanks again. Have a nice day.

That's not what's relevant here. I'm just saying that it's all about the intensity of a dance..

I do not dance a lot,but when I was younger me and my friends used to go the Wagon Wheel which is a country western dance club, and we would do line dancing like the Boot Scootin Boogies and slow dances, and I like to dance sometimes even though I liked to listen to the music and dip lol,and I plan on taking my wife to the Wagon Wheel one day,and I think dancing is a form of exercise because when you,get dancing and break a sweat you start losing weight, because once your heart starts pumping fast, you start losing calories so anything can be exercise.

Oh definitely! I go dancing on Monday and Friday nights and it is definitely a workout. I still love it though. Depending on what dances we do, sometimes I am just having fun and other times I break out into quite a sweat.

I do believe that dancing is a form of exercise. You get active while you dance, thus burning calories. Its sort of like an aerobic exercise. I've had friends say they lost a few pounds from practicing dancing everyday. My friends and I do the more active dances like breakdancing and popping.

If you want to dance very good then it is very good exercise. Because for very good show need to work a lot and hard. I love to watch movies about the dance. When i did belly dance i lose 10 kg!) But you need to do such dance what you like the most.
