I really find children irritating and can't stand one. I know they are sweet and cute but they are really arrogant and is always demanding and asking something. They cry for no reason and make me disgusted

I have never known a child cry for NO reason! there is always a reason for them to be crying it might be from hunger or tiredness or because they are upset angry bored or maybe they just want a cuddle but a child always has a reason for crying even if like my youngest sometimes its just because its the quickest way to get my attention. Id suggest you stay away from children as much as you possibly can if you feel that disgusted about a poor innocent child!

Well, I see you are an 18 year old male so your answer is not totally surprising. No doubt when you mature your attitude will change, but if it does not, PLEASE do NOT become a father. Child abuse is at enormous proportions. Here in Australia a case of child abuse is REPORTED every 1.65 minutes and there is a SUBSTANTIATED case every 9 minutes. I dare say these figures are similar in other countries and possibly worse in some. Speaking as a mother of five wonderful (now adult) sons, I have to disagree with you. My children were taught the right behaviour and it was also modelled to them, and I am proud of each one of them. I was NEVER irritated by them. Speaking as a children's ministry worker, I have to say that I have NEVER known a child to be irritating, arrogant or demanding, who wasn't taught that behaviour by their parents. Sure, there ARE children with those qualities, but children learn by example, and when they are presented with the wrong examples, they will develop that way. If children disgust you, PLEASE stay away from them.

Oh are you not so glad you were never a child & irritating? I bet you were the perfect child, never cried once, never asked for anything...not even a drink of water. Never asked for your diaper to be changed, nevre asked what was for dinner & never asked for money. Oh how nice it would be if children were not demanding. Pity though that they are children for a reason & not adults. cause now don't get me started on irritating adults. Demanding, violent & abusive. Oh and so full of hatered. don't you find it strange that children don't hate until tought by adults to hate, they don't demand until the see an adult demand. They just do what children do. I can see your not parent & in a way I hope you never become one, cause I can see you are in a way still a child yourself. I became a adult & grew up when I had a child. Demanding, crying, sweet, cute & INNOCENT....I love him.

You have to be patient with children.Specially the ones of today. The are generally very self centred and try taking advantage of you.I used to think they are innocent and do not understand the psyche of adults. But I was wrong, they can be as manipulative as an adult to have their way.I have found this with my little daughter. She uses anger and crying as weapons to get things done and acquire something she fancies. Initially we used to give in to her tantrums until we found they always have an ulterior motive. Now we simply let her carry on for sometime and this is really trying on our patience, until she realises she will not get her way and stops.

Oh you're not alone there my friend. I find children so irritating too. I know they're just children and they're somewhat free to do things they want to that's why I just stay away from them. I don't let them get into my nerves. shadow41

Yes. They are really irritating and they do not find any joy interacting with us. They seek their own age group or are busy playing online games. They find human company specially adult company very boring and if for some reason they have to 'live' with human company they get into tantrums which can be very irritating.
