Fall Play

I love the fall. It is by far my most favorite season. I think because it is not too warm and not too cold. As of late we have spent our days taking our children outside to watch the change of seasons. Today we walked the back sections of our apartments near the pond to watch the ducks swim around, the geese sit, and the squirrels play. My son chased after several with his lightsaber and our daughter giggled in the grass as she watched local dogs play in our dog park. What have you done this fall to enjoy the change of seasons? Do you have change of seasons where you are? Namaste-Anora

Fall would be my second favorite after spring. I don't like it when it gets so much darker earlier, but I love the weather. Where I grew up, in Los Angeles, we didn't really have such noticeable changes in the seasons, but it's a bit more noticeable here. But it doesn't get so cold either. Which is fine with me!

Dawn- Thank you for responding. Did you feel differently now that you have seasons as before? I know for myself, when living in Arizona, I felt as if everything sorted of melted together and there was no distinction. Now that I'm back up north where we have seasons I feel as if my life has marked progressions in the seasons we have. Namaste-Anora

Hm, I kind of liked it in LA in January when I could razz my brother in Spokane and tell him that it was 70 degrees outside. And I don't really like cold weather. But then what I call "cold", other people wouldn't. "Marked progressions",hm, no I haven't really noticed that, but I will pay attention.

Yeah, even though I live in Minnesota now I can't say I enjoy ice cold weather either. I'm a big baby when it comes to all the snow. I bought a rabbit fur (can't use the word it is named because apparently it violates tos lol) at the Ren Fest this season so I could keep my fingers extra warm when having to walk to class lol. Take Care. Namaste-Anora

well,we haven't had the geese fly over yet for migration..they seem kind of late, they usually leave by now..i'm mainly been looking at the leaf changes. we have one maple in the yard that has turned a brilliant red and orange. it's funny,it's the only one turning so far, sticks out like a sore thumb.

Hi Anora, I admit that Fall is beautiful with all its lovely colours but it always reminds me that Winter is coming and we often have a lot of snow and frost. There was a time when I enjoyed winter but now I just wait for it to be over. Spring is my favourite season because of all the new life I see around me. Blessings.

Pose- Thank you for the insight. I suppose for myself I like the knowledge that we have enough to make it through the upcoming winter, and the peace that the winter slumber brings. It brings a time of spiritual rest, as well as physical rest in which we can gain back our energies and strength. Many blessings dear friend. Namaste-Anora

Hello, Anora!Yes, we do have change of seasons. It is really a very nice time of year. We walked quite abit on Halloween and I always enjoy watching the leaves fall and seeing the changes coming on the trees. I don't really have a most favorite time of year. I like all of them although Spring and Fall are definite favorites. We cut up the pumpkins every years and roast the seeds. One of my favorites. I like to walk in the leaves and I think the sunsets are lovely this time of year. We live about two blocks away from a very nice park and I quite often walk over there and play in the leaves. It is just something I have always enjoyed since early childhood.

I don't really care for the cooler/colder weather this time of year but I feel there is an excitement and energy about it I do enjoy.

CE- It sounds just lovely walking at sunset and enjoying the fall air. I adore pumpkin seeds, they seem to set the tone just as roasted nuts do during the winter season. Have a wonderful day. Namaste-Anora

Hello my friend Anora_Eldorath Ji, AS an Indian, we experience, three main season changes throughout the year. They are known as 'SUMMER, RAINY, AND WINTER'. Further, they have sub division like 'SPRING' where all leaves will fall and new tender leaves would emerge. During some places like Bangalore, roads will be completely covered with flowers dropped over night. If on eflies from Eastern part of country "Asam " to western part of our country on any day in the yaer, one will come across varrying climatic condition, while crossing plains of Northern part of India one might use warm clothings and y the time one reaches westrn part, one has toemainwith one top and bottom. Durig winter, mercry is dipped 4 deg cel. below zero and in summer in Rajasthan goes beyond 45-48 deg. Cels.May God bless You and have a great time.
