How trusting are you???

When it comes to trust, there are two kinds of people...those who do, and those who don't. If you see a stranger, are you more obliged to trust him/her, or make them earn your trust? I am always out to see the good in people, so if a total stranger walked up and asked for money, (and I had some to spare) I would give it over in a heartbeat, trusting that he/she needed that money. That's just an example, but what about you? Are you trusting or apprehensive when it comes to someone new? Have a great day! Dive Deep!

In truth I am the opposite, I find it very very difficult to trust new people, sometimes I am extremely paranoid, but I put this down to my past, two manipulative, abusive relationships and being bullied for most of my life, I find it very hard to trust people and I am nearly always on my guard, suspicion and mistrust take over, I do get very defensive. It is good that you are very kind, I only hope no one takes advantage of your good willed nature.

hi chaoticbeauty i once used to be like you, i would not think much and give something away, well sometimes it has happened that they were just acting and it hurts to know they have been fooling around, other good people too, we need to be more careful my friend, i had started a similar discussion relating to trust and i got some very nice responses you would want to check out some in the discussions i have started... i too tend to trust anyone easily but sadly the world is much more selfish than we assumed, people can go to any extent when it comes to getting what they want.. we need to be careful but still be the way we are, and maintaining a balance between them... trust should not come easily, we only trust others easily because we always think they are speaking the truth but that is not the case all the time... take care friend.
