What is the Purpose of HUMAN BEINGS in this so called Planet Earth?

For me the purpose of human beings in this planet is to help other people, be a asset not a liability of the planet, take care of the environment, and react as a part of it that will help the planet become more healthy and beautiful. Being a responsible individual that will give it's best in order to help the society no matter what nationality, what country or what kind.
How bout you? what do you think is the purpose of human beings for you?

We should enjoy the present of nature with gratitute.The earth is extremely generous,how can we human beings be so rude to her?

I believe that our purpose of existence is to finish a certain goal. To take care our mother earth and to make it more beautiful than ever!

rjvb26 I think you have pretty well hit the nail on the
head as far as my own thinking goes.I felt that I needed
to find a way to justify to myself taking up my space on
this planet.so I chose to work as a nurse's aide helping
ill people.It give me a feeling of fulfillment and made
me feel that I was doing something to help other people.
I really did enjoy the work so much. We get so much back
when we do things that will help other people. as an elderly'
retired person I think that working in a medical situation
has instilled in me caring and compassion for other people
even now in my elderly days.

Thanks for that. I think we have the same thinking about the purpose of human beings in this planet. Keep up the good work and Continue your good doings it helps a lot, your only one and small in this world but big things comes from small ones, if you can do it, others can do it. I started this post not only to know who are the people who knows their meaning, but to teach those person who do not know it yet. I maybe one but if we help each other i think i can show and teach the world what has to be done and what is needed to be done.

To realize we are all one and to love one's self. Maybe then we could have world peace. But we are too busy with our separate selves and how much money we can make. Therefore we are absent from our true meaning.

Your right! that's why people need to be sensitive and knowledgeable enough. People should learn to be selfless sometimes. The being "absent from our true meaning" will make the world suffer and so do we, if the mother earth will be destroyed because of the wrong doings and the insensitivity of the people, we will be the most affected and we will suffer from things that we do not even think will happen.
