When I was still in college, I worked as a student assistant. I don't know if you can exactly call that a part time job, but we were getting paid per hour that we spent maintaining and manning the computer labs in the campus. Now that I am working I still got myself a part time job as an insurance agent since I need the extra income to support my family.

I never did a part time job . The reason is that when i was studying, I was in a village and there was no scope for any part time job. We used to do our household agricultural job. After the graduation I migrated to the metros and I got the employment. I wanted to do some part time job all these years. But I could nt do. One reason is the committement to the full time job and the other one is India is a country with most unemployment so the competition will be more on that front

When I was in college I had worked part-time, but for the most part I worked on campus. I had worked in an office to get a little extra money. The year before I married I had worked for a company called Discovery Research Group in which I called people to conduct telephone surveys. I really did not like the job, but at the time I was engaged and needed to save up money for my wedding and for a house. My husband and I wanted to get a house before we had hit our one year anniversary (we made it with 6 weeks to spare)and I knew the only way to make it happen was to save enough money for a down payment. Now that I am married I have been unable to seek employment because of the economy. I have a Bachelors degree, but there are no teaching positions available in Idaho.
