how do you control yourself?

sometimes we find difficult to control ourself,for example,when it is raining day,we may feel not so good and wouldn't like to do anythings,or when you face a so tough thing,you will probabily feel some stress and think everything get a mess,that is so hard how do you control yourself,no matter when you are happy or sad?what will you do?

hi winnie! sorry, but i'm a little bit confused? can you be specific here? it's controlling your emotions you mean? well for me, i always think of my actions if i get mad or angry, as much as possible i don't wanna hurt somebodys feeling, professionalism always kicks on me, i believe all things can be sort out by talking it over...

Pray - that is a major source of strength and solace for me and my family. I also try to think about why I am feeling a certain way - stress, sad, etc.... By identifying the cause / causes it helps me isolate those feelings. Once isolated I try to look at how I can make them positive or at least semi-positive. Of course nothing is fool proof and it is normal to be sad, stressed, etc... Those are normal human emotions and we need to have them so we can experience them and learn how to deal with them. I guess the last thing I do is try to remember not to project those feelings into other situations or on other people. I am not always successful but these strategies do help.
