Hi, Everything is based on your family situation to decide to proceed with higher studies or with job search. If u are from a filthy rich family u can go ahead with ur PG.Else you need to search for a job and continue working and now the IT situation is bad so I suggestion would be Higher studies if u have money.Else search for job and earning.

I am of the opinion that studying M.Tech, M.S etc the B.Tech is the best option as per the existing situation. The placement opportunities have weakened due to the economic crisis prevailing globally. International companies will now look for fewer but better employees with what they pay for.. So it is better to have in-depth knowledge in your stream.

It depends on your aspirations. You choose a college major typicaly when you have an idea of what job you want to do. If you can get that job without the advanced degree, then go get it! If you will need the M.S. to get that job, then stick it out a little bit longer and hopefully it will be worth it. Or maybe you'll get lucky and land a job now that will pay for your advanced degree.
