For years doctors believed there were no symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. Now they have discovered there are 6 warning signs to look out for. If discovered early enough there is a 90% curable rate. You may not have all six symptoms but if you have even one of the warning signs for more then two weeks at a time you should go to the doctors and ask for an ultrasound. Women we know our bodies and we know when something is not right. So please we need to learn to be our own advocate. The 6 critical warning signs are: 1. Bloating 2. Pelvic Pain 3. Getting full quickly 4. Abdominal pain 5. Increased Abdominal Size 6. Difficulty eating Good luck and Good Health to all!

I have just had my smear,My daughter has had her smear today.Mine is clear and we are waiting for my daughters results.Every woman must get a smear on a regular basis,I normally suffer all these symtoms once a month like most woman do but only for a couple of days.We must look after ourselves and thanks for such a good discussion to reming those of us who take our life for granted. No one must assume they are alright we must make sure.

That is great information you have the symptoms are like the common ones that you would not suspect it to be part of something dreadful disease. I do hope that many women do take heed of such warning because it seems negligible if not taken seriously.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 38 but they didn't get my ovaries. I guess there's still a possibility I could get it, although I don't worry about it that much. I still go for my yearly once a year. Kathy.

They say ovarian cancer is insidious because it spreads subtly and mimics other symptoms. You won't notice until it's in the late stage. Doctors used to say that ovarian cancer is detected when it's already late because you won't notice the symptoms at all. It's good news to know that there are ways to early detect it.
