If you are in high school, what do you want your college major to be and why?

When I graduated from high school, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do. I went to college, majored in music and dropped out after a semester. A couple of years later, I went back to college. Truth is, there were no jobs at that time and it seemed logical to further my education. After starting as a business major, and discovering it wasn't for me, I settled on a major in sound engineering and television production. While I was in college, I got a job at the student run radio station and after graduating became a radio announcer and news anchor. I have never once used my college degree other than to get a job. I picked my major simply because I had an interest in it. I enjoyed it. I had such fun making student films and working on various projects! My parents pushed pretty hard for me to major in something that I could actually make a living from. However, the careers that generally make you a decent living wage just never interested me.

I was in high school seven years ago, and after entrance exams with a high grade i decided to educate on 'telecommunication engineering'. Main reason was it was a progressing sector and to pick another alternatives (like chemistry teacher) was a waste of that great grade for my family and teachers. Now i've frozen my education, it was a complete failure because i wasn't found of engineering. I'm preparing for entrance exams again; and this time i'll pick what i want. I'm considering law school and sociolgy. Main reasons are i'm interested with those topics, i know i can manage to suceed through my education, and when i graduate i'd enjoy working on that courses. When i get old and look at past, i want to say 'I did something to change the world into a better place'. Those majors will give me that opportunity.

I'm not in high school anymore...I graduated a little over 10 years ago. I went to college after high school though and I went for computer networking.
