I dont agree with arranged marriages. They may work out in some countries, but I believe that once you become an adult it should be fully your decision who you spend the rest of your life with. I would never dream of telling one of my children who to marry or even suggesting a partner to them for that matter. I do not believe that love should come after the marriage, that is a rediculous concept. In the countries that arranged marriages do work in, they dont work because the couples are extremely happy together, they work simply because the couple would rather stay in an unhappy marriage than bring shame on their family by divorcing.

Are you kidding me? I got married when I was 20 years old and I was plenty mature. Who in thier right mind would allow their parents to tell them who to spend the rest of thier life with? We become adults for a reason, if we were meant to let our parents continue to control our every move, we would stay babies forever.

arranged marriages are perfect.... becoz there shud be sum element of suspence.... in case of love marriages u already knew a lot about ur partner u dun have to know much abt him/her and thts yyyy love marriages have greater flop ratio....

Love marriage, definately!! What if the arranged marriage is with someone you don't love, or a complete jerk? Love can really conquer anything, as corny as that sounds. The power of love can over come any obstacle. An arranged marriage may leave you longing for love.

Well let me tell you something. In the last 6 months i have known three girls that were married by arrangaiments. LEt me tell you something else, all of these three girls are now divorced after a short time. So my conclusion is that arrangaed married do not work. Maybe only in a few occasions but mostly not. So the marriage based in love is the best one.
