Do you enjoy eating or is it secondary for you?

I love to eat good dishes and fruits. I really enjoy whatever I eat and do justice to it. Some people never show any interest in eating. They will be working, watching TV or reading and mechanically their hand will be taking the food item and putting it in the mouth. Do you enjoy your food?

After 45 age, health problems will start and we cannot eat as we wish. So enjoy your food and eat well. Happy Eating.

Good. I enjoyed reading this response friend. This shows how much you respect your food and know the quality of it. Eat till you are full and dwell on the taste that you ate.

Hi Buchi, It is good to know that you are enjoying your food and it is true that many are watching TV and eating their food, just like an automatic activity. I am enjoying my food at dinner only. In other times eating is a secondary for me. But it does not mean that when I am eating food simultaneously doing something. In morning I am in a hurry and just swallowing something to avoid the problems of skipping a breakfast. In lunch also it is doing hurriedly to finish works in office. At dinner time I am enjoying with kids, feeding them and after eating myself by talking to them.

I can understand this as I was like this before. I was not particular as to what I was eating in the morning. Lunch time was not enough to eat and do other works like going to coop. Bank, go to staff section to apply for any thing, to go and stand in the queue in the bathroom, so was just swallowing something. Night, after children finished eating, I was enjoying my dinner. But eat at least something Srikala. Do not miss your breakfast, if no time, at least some banana or milk. Your family is dependent on you. I missed my breakfast many a times and that is why I have acidity problem now. That is why I am telling this. Sorry for the advice.

I LOVE to eat! I actually have trouble keeping myself from eating throughout the day. I snack constantly and enjoy every meal. I should probably be much heavier than I am, but knock on wood that my metabolism keeps up with my habits!

I pay a lot of attention to food. I prefer home cooked food and believe in variety provided ofcourse there is help around when sky is the limit to try out new dishes. I get more enthusiastic when I have guests for whom I take special care to cook something exotic.

I do get compliments but when I was just married and was trying to 'show off' my knowledge about chinese cooking I did get a sweet and sour compliment from my husband. He said 'It is very nice but please dont make it again'!!!

In Danish culture food is to be celebrated and enjoyed. My husband, on the other hand, never was one to think much of eating, although he absolutely loves to cook. Ironic, eh? Now that we are married, I am reminding him that I do like to eat a bit more, and now we both enjoy eating just as much, and he gets plenty of opportunities to cook. :)

It is nice to know that he cooks well and you eat well. After all cooking is done to eat and enjoy. A cook will get full satisfaction only when the dishes are relished by someone. My husband also cooks very well and keeps on asking how it is, is it nice, just ok or nice and I keep on answering good, nice , very nice, most lovely, degrees get superlative touch. When both of you eat together, you can exchange your opinion on the dish and still enjoy more.

Hi Buchi, there is a saying about eating: live to eat or eat to live. I prefer the former one. Yeah, I enjoy eating heartily when I'm living When eating together with my family I'm always the last one to finish the food. From the process of chewing we then could get the real savor of it. So enjoy eating but not swallowing. Each kind of food has its own unique taste. The extra ketchup or chili sauce, etc added to it definitely will spoil the true taste of it. So I seldom use extra flavoring while eating food like fried chicken, steam fish, .... These extra adding would spoil the original taste of it for sure. What's even worse doing this we could get the taste of the flavoring only but not the real taste of the food Happy posting

chilli bajji and bonda image - Indian food item chilli bajji and bonda image
Hai ikbooi, you also think like me. I too never add sauce or ketch up to any item. The real taste is lost. In India there is deep fried items like vada, bajji, bonda etc. Yesterday I made bajji and bonda. People take ketch up or chutney as side dish. My son asked for chutney and had it. But I ate as it is. Have a great day my friend.

I do enjoy eating. I always think eating is one of the most happiest thing in our lives. It's really enjoyable. I always think spending money on food is worthy, as compared to spending money on clothes. But sometimes I also eat while I'm watching TV, working or reading, as I am more focus on the other activities at that moment.

As far as possible, it is better to concentrate on eating. Elders say then only it will give proper energy.

There are times when I work while I eat but, if I have a choice, I would like to sit down and enjoy my food. I love to eat too. I enjoy flavors playing in my mouth. In other words, I like tasting my food. I am usually able to do this during dinner. After a long day at work, I would like dinner to be my "unwind" time. Have a nice day!

Your love for food is clearly known in your response. When so much taste is present in the food items, why to ignore them? Do justice to it. Enjoy and eat happily. That is also a pleasure. I love my food always. As you said, when I am in a hurry no other go. Otherwise ENJOY.

I love to eat, often when I'm not hungry, or even when I'm full. I wish I were one of those people who didn't want to eat all the time, but I just love to snack! I graze all throughout the day, sometimes out of boredom, sometimes hunger, and sometimes emotion. I usually enjoy every bite, though, so I can't complain, really.

That is true. When we are bored, under stress, to change our mood and when we are hungry in odd hours, we feel like eating junk food.

Yes. While eating my food, I will enjoy every morsel of it and for that my DH used to tease me and tell my children that, "see how your mummy is enjoying her food and eating happily. That is why she is healthy". If I do not like my food still I eat it as a medicine to fill my stomach.
