What is your take on Reality Shows?

i like tv shows that are entertaining. the reality shows that i follow right now are the amazing race and survivor. both shows are fun and exciting to watch because i get to see different places around the world. the reality shows that i don't like are the big brother shows because all you see are the interiors of the house. it's too boring.

I don't know about the reality shows in your country, but in Romania, the only thing I can watch connected to reality shows are... the promos to the shows. That's because their best description in human filth. There are only a few that revolve around celebrities (and we have but a few celebrities of some value, the rest are nothing but rich morons looking for public display), while most are set-ups of usual people. Just check out a few titles: "Mother exchange", "Daughter-in-law for my mother"... These shows are on the lowest step of human quality, but they do have many viewers from the poor-educated majority. I rather watch cartoons than such shows...

I think reality shows are better than dramas.with reality shows,genuine human emotions are captured.no need to worry about make-up or costume.with reality shows,the important things are the words said by the characters and how the character acted on the situation presented to him.

I think they are mostly fixed as you have said.I am tired of such shows now.They only try to create a high level of drama to keep up audience attention.Celebrities are increasingly becoming a part of these shows not only for a chance to win but to hike their popularity with the general masses.I think these got up shows should be done away with.However I do like MTV Roadies.I think it is the only show with some element of reality in it!
