I have heard of this but I have never seen anything like it. Is it really true that cats cough up hair balls? I don't think it is true because I thought that their stomachs dissloved it or something. Can you please help me with this doubt that I have?? I would really appreciate it. Happy mylotting Maria s.

Yes, it's common for a cat to do this, the hair is not digestable and every so often they will vomit up the mass of hair that has accumulated.

Yeap, cats do cough up hairballs. Its because they frequently lick their fur in order to clean their body. Furs will stick to their tounge and they will gather up at the stomach. After a certain time, the cat coughs out the furball because their stomach is incapable to digest their own fur. Happy Mylotting!!

I have never heard this, I know a cat coughing because the nose conceded lice or dust. Cats have very sensitive senses, so if something felt by the cat then the cat will move reflex.
