Does anyone know good crock pot cooking ideas?

I am pretty hopeless when it comes to cooking, as I do not have a passion for it and do not have much time to do so. Someone recently gave me a crock pot to cook with, as it is supposed to save time. However, I have no idea what to do with it. I've looked in a cook book for ideas, but they all seem too time consuming. Anyone have any easy, but tasty, ideas?

I make lots of things in the crock pot - I think the easiest is a roast. You put the roast in, along with some oil and maybe some spices (and I add water, too). Sometimes I slice some apples and onions and put them in on top, or I put small potatoes and cut up carrots in. Then I just cook it on low for 7 hours. (I'm kind of lazy, though).

Here is my recipe for "western" style beans. Little warning they tend to be sweet. I don't really have any exact measurements so yeah, sorry! Also, all ingredients are just what I use, you can omit what you want. 2 cans of baked beans, I use Bush's baked beans. Any will do, sometimes I just use whatever kind I have on hand. Put the beans in the crock pot, I put the crock pot on High while I do this, then turn it to low so I can just forget about it for awhile. I do not stir any of the ingredients in as I add them. Take garlic powder and sprinkle some all over the beans (just enough to lightly cover them). Chop up a small onion into medium sized onion, or you can use about half of a large onion, put it in. Take some black pepper and just shake it on there all over the beans as much or as little as you want. Next get some mustard. I enjoy spicy brown, but regular yellow works fine too. Just squirt some in the middle, about the size of when you put your thumb and pointing finger together to make a circle. It can be a little more or a little less if you want. Then take BBQ sauce and twice as much as you did mustard, again you can use less if you don't want them to be as sweet. Now, you can mix it if you want, I just leave it and come back like 20 mins or more later. Then I stir it up, turn it to "keep warm" and let is sit like that for a bit. Then come back and they are done! You can add cut up hot dog during the beginning of the steps too. I really like it, others in my family like it too. It is cheap and easy, you can use any type of baked beans. Even if you have kids who are old enough to stay home on their own, but you don't want them using the stove, they could make this themselves.
