As we are now a little under a week away from Thanks giving I was wondering what are some things that you do every year on Thanksgiving? My first and favorite thing to do is to get up and move a TV in the kitchen so I can watch the Parade while I cook. I have always loved this parade. The other I love doing. Is looking under the dish clothes that have been covering pans of homemade noodles for days to see if they are ready to be put into the broth. My favorite dish is my grandmothers homemade noodles, which she passed down the recipe to me before she passed away. So please share what do you look forward to on Thanksgiving day

The only thing traditional in our family is the food. People's work schedules change over time, some are married and go to other places for Thanksgiving now. This year will be low key, but we'll still be having turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, asparagus, green and black olives and celery stuffed with cream cheese, iced tea and pumpkin pie for dessert. That's the basic Thanksgiving dinner we've always had, with a few additions now and then, like sweet potatoes or chocolate cake.

Don't feel bad for feeling proud. That is a great accomplishment. So what kinds of dishes do you fix for Thanksgiving? My favorite is all the breads and deserts. How many people do you usually have over for Thanksgiving? This year it is only going to be about 8 of us. but I like the smaller group
