Holiday Craft Fair Shopping

Does anyone like to shop at holiday (Christmas and/or Fall) craft fairs? I went to a church craft fair yesterday, and they had the coolest stuff! I bought some very cute purse organizers with lots of pockets as gifts for my mother & mother-in-law. Handmade things are great. What do you look for when you shop at craft shows?

I make it a point to shop craft fairs. As a crafter it's always fun to see what others are doing. A great place to pick up ideas and sources for materials. The best thing about them is they are a great place to find those one-of-a-kind gifts for the people on my list that are hardest to shop for, and stay on budget.

I am a crafter and had a show last weekend....but I also like to walk around and see what's new.....I bought three baby quilts for all the soon to be newborns in our family....also got a book for my granddaughter that has her name in it.....from a ceramic's artist I bought a calling card holder that matches the decor on my own tables.....sounds like you had a fun time!

I love craft shows. I am a crafter myself and when I am a vendor there I love to walk around and see all the other vendors' crafts. There are many unique ideas and I usually ending up getting a few things for myself. Many hours of hard work went into making their crafts and in most cases a love for what they do. Crafters take alot of pride when making their products and when someone buys it they feel very good that someone else likes it enough to buy it as is the case when someone buys a piece of my jewelry. It is a lot of work to set up for a craft show, first making all the product, transporting it, setting up, and then taking it all back down. Thank you for supporting the local artist.
