You will run or just stay and don t believe that there can be a bomb? Are you a person who in hard situation you will be calm, or act as a scared person? Every day, are peoples who make announcement like this; a bomb, and all police is there in short time; will you believe or just you know that are peoples who like to make jokes?

We had a bomb threat awhile ago in our office, but I didn't run, because if God tells me it's my time, I'll die anyway, but if it's not my time jet, whatever happens, I'll live. I am not the panic type. But if I am in a more public place, like a station, or a shopping mall, I would walk to the main or back entrance slowly, because if I run it's dangerous too, we can be trampled and suffocated between the hysterical people.

There will be a panic situation and I will get away from that place as fast as I could, but I will see myself out to the exit door without hurting other people because some people tend to ignore their surroundings and push each other when they are panic.

well friend,it's a truth ,everyone on the planet caring for her or his life and they should do it. Today's the most common thing happening across the globe is "the bomb blast" . One thing u keep in mind that if any thing is to be happen , it will complete it's course. we can not stop it. Now comming to youe point , first thing I will try to know about the media, person or system by which i am being communicated such news or announcments are made. Because many a times it is seen ,feew people play fowl and laugh at the croud . Whatever the reason but if such situation really occured ,then in my mind first thing to come is to be calm and think quickly for the next step to do. Many times we have seen the panic and stampede has been causing more damage than the blast. Also our mind is more active and provide solution when it is calm and steady.watch out for current situation ,juast get away from the croud and seek for cover ther itself than running in nowhere. It will be decided later whether it is joke or reality. There is no need to scare about such announcment. If I feel the annoncment is genuine,i will try to get away from the spot without causing hiderance to others.

When I am in hard situation I usually keep calm. But not with this bomb issue. I guess at first I will think it's a joke, but I will leave that place later. It's never too careful to be cautious.

i have never been to this kind of situation... but let me tell you, i am a very calm person... i generally don't panic so easily... a few days back when i was traveling in metro at night, it suddenly stopped in between and people around me started talking... why it stopped... when it will start... and so on... i along with other few were watching them and laughing as this is no way a point of concern... there were thousands of people in the metro and those 10-15 people where trying to make everyone nervous...

My husband is a war veterans, and is used to stuff like that when he was in combat, so he has told me how to be vigilant. Because of all of the bombings nowadays I make it a point never to be anywhere that i can't escape quickly. I don't go to over-crowded places, and I make sure I know where all exits are at all times.

I think i would walk fast to get away as there are alot more bombs that are let off in places where they know there will be lots of people and alot of them do blow up and yes to be honest i would not take the chance that it could be a hoax.

I would leave the area and help others leave also. I would believe because you never know for sure if it is a joke or not.

hello ice, it has happened many times and the person doing is so insensitive as to what was going to happen. stampede usually is the result and many get hurt and some die. well, it as if a bomb really has exploded. i hope this doesnt happen to me because the first thing i would do will be to run for cover.. anywhere but away. ann

I have never met such a situation where some people made a announcment like this: attention, a bomb! It is really an incredible thing. If I have to face such a situation, then I guess I tend to keep calm and chew over the matter. Even if I am confused and nervous, I will try my best to keep me calm down in case I lose my mind. You see, sometimes, people who make such an announcment may just want to create confusion so as to fish in troubled waters. It is not wise to try their best to get away without any thoughts, which may make the situation more confused.

I was on a bus traveling to Tel Aviv bus station. The bus drew up towards the bus stop outside the bus station. Someone was shouting and I got off the bus. The driver closed the door of the bus and quickly drove away. Someone had hung a handbag in a tree. People imagined it was a bomb! I was scared and I went into the bus station. I got on a bus to Jerusalem. I arrived safely. Sadly bombs do happen in Israel sometimes. I think keeping calm helps. In 1990 I worked in London and bombs did go off there. I used to get a train to London Victoria or London Blackfriars. One time I got the London Blackfriars tarin and London Victoria had a bomb go off there. How terrible that was and I was glad I didn't catch the Victoria train that time.

hi icesmile I was on a local bus going about ten miles to the u where I was enrolled when the bus driver got a phone call and another empty bus pulled up behind us. He asked us all to get off as it was reported a bomb had been placed on this bus and was due to go off in fifteen minutes. the police arrived at the same time. we got off the bus in an orderly fashion, all of us a bit shocked of course but we got on the other bus and headed for the area of the u of Ca in Irvine. well maybe because of nerves and the bomb scare and whatever I did not ace this one test in latin grammar I had hoped to ace. i actually flunked the darned thing but I still graduated with a b- so not all was lost. the bomb threat turned out to be a hoax but of course the bus driver had to proceed as if it was not a hoax.

I've been in this situation twice in London, and both times resulted in bomb explosions....so, probably best to get away as quickly as you can. Even if it does turn out to be a joke (and a pretty sick joke at that!), at least you are safe rather than sorry. In that situation, I'm one of those people who will appear calm on the outside, as the more we panic the more we compromise our safety, but I'll probably be shaking with fear inside.
