Can you make baked potatoes without using oven?

Please help me.... i'm trying to make baked potatoes at home.. But all the receipe i found in the internet said yhat we have to use oven to make it.. I don't have an oven in my home.. Is it any other ways to make baked potatoes, without put it in the oven? I only got a microwave

You can make baked potatoes in the microwave, that is how I do my baked potatoes all the time because it is so much easier and faster than the oven. You can just wash off the potatoes and poke them with a fork and then place them in the oven for about 15 or 20 minutes depending on how big your potato is....they taste just as good as the ones done in an oven

I have tried it using Philcraft pot and teflon pot. Just cut the potatoes in half, put them on the pan (cut side down) then cover. Put on medium fire until it is getting softer. Then put to low fire until it is tender. The bottom will be a little crusty but you can remove the crusty part before you place toppings.

Hi valentbaby, when I used to have a microwave about the only thing I ever used it for was baked potatoes, as they take ages in a conventional oven, but the latter gives a more crispy finish to the skin. Just make sure you poke them plenty of times with a fork and dry them off with some kitchen paper and then cook them in the microwave, easy.
