I have never been in a earthquake. I would not want to either. I heard it is scary to be caught in the middle of one. I can only imagine what the people in California have to go through. I really feel for them because of the dangers that earthquakes can cause. I have always wanted to move to California but hearing about all of earthquakes they have have really changed my mind. I keep thinking about how disasterous it would be if a really bad one hit. I am even scared to visit califorina even though it a place where I would love to go.

I have experienced one Earthquake in my life back in Feb. 2001, and it was a scary experience for sure. To feel the earth tremble under your feet is not a Fun experience and personally there is nothing you can do to prepare yourself except to Pray when one hits that everyone and everything will turn out the Best for everyone included. The one I experienced was in the Seattle area, and since we have not felt one since there is nothing wrong with wanting to come and visit here sometime if you have never been for sure.

No I have never been in an eartquake and do not want too. I have always wanted to visit California and see all the sites and maybe meet a few celebrities but I would never want to live there and one of the reasons is because of the earthquakes.

Thank you for your issuing,I don't know why you have so little security about earthquake.American is a safe place ,totally speaking.in year 2007 a terrible earthquake accoured to SiChuan province in China which is a 8 and caused more than 80 thousand deaths which is not only a nature disaster but also a human-made effect because of bad quality of constructions which can make the people earn more from that.I was in a tall building in JiangSu which is about 3000 miles away from the location of earthquake in SiChuan but I felt that because I was on the top floor.I paniced but stayed calm when I learn the earthquake is just 3000 thousand miles away.

I grew up in southern california and I was in a lot of tiny earthquakes. They all happened when I was a kid, and were really, really minor. They felt like being on a boat, and I actually thought they were fun. w

i've been in a middle of an earthquake before, when i was 10. it happened while we were still in school. it was scary that's why since then, our school and other schools conducted periodical earthquake, disaster and fire drills. like indonesia, philippines is part of the pacific ring of fire (includes japan, taiwan, philippines, indonesia, etc.) these areas have periodic earthquakes, tectonic plates in these areas are "unstable" and moves. but having these disasters doesn't keep us from enjoying what the place offers. we have lots of natural resources and scenic places. its a good place to live in. you shouldn't limit yourself into going to place you love.

hi tuckersheri oh its not as bad as all that.we have not even had a tremor since almost a year ago and it was about a three. we were in our room here and the beds moved back and forth for maybe thirty seconds.no where near the epicenter. we have zillions of little tremors and do not even notice them, We have not had a bad earthquake here in years now. there are hazards in most states but this is a great place to live and am not going to go anywhere else.

I have been on earthquake so many times. I live in Indonesia, so earthquake is very common here especially in the province that I used to live. The most scary one was during the Tsunami disaster in 2004. It was a horror story and I thought the world was going to collapse soon. It was the strongest earthquake I have ever been and it changed my life ever since. Everytime I feel the ground is moving, I panic. I would rush out of the house. I think I am traumatized already by the earthquake.

I have never been in an earthquake. That's funny, if you consider that I live in a country that is famous for having earquakes often. I consider myself lucky for not having experienced one so far, and I hope I don't have to for a long while. Earthquakes are really scary, and I don't think I'd be prepared for one.

I have been in one very mild earthquake. I think it was only like a two or three on the Richter scale, and I didn't think it was anything until I saw on the news that there had been an earthquake. I think you should go to California if you want it's a really beautiful place.
