Do you Easily Fall Asleep?

I have two sons and whenever we put them to sleep, my youngest boy easily falls asleep while the eldest tends to have a hard time in getting his sleep. With this I just realized that my first son inherited his sleeping late from me while the other one got it from his mum or my wife. Funny thing is that I envy those who easily falls asleep, and when they do fell asleep, they really sleep soundly. How about you? Do you easily fall asleep when the need arises?

I only fall asleep easily when I am extremely tied or sleepy. It's not deep sleep and I have lots of dreams. I just can't sleep well. I am diagnosed as somnipathy.

I easily fall asleep when i need to. Like when i get bored and tired. But i can't sleep sometimes even though i wanted to. I just read books and then i fall asleep. Yeah i have friends that fell asleep in the class and sometimes i also like that. It's funny but yeah sleeping is my hobby and i waste my time just to sleep so i prefer to stay awake.

Usually it doesn't take me long to fall asleep unless I am not that sleepy. Just this afternoon after having my lunch, I felt asleep very soon within ten minutes, but I also woke up soon because I was afraid to be late for the office.

It actually depends on the situation. If I'm really tired and was overworked the whole day, I could fall asleep easily. But if I took naps during the day, then I'd find a hard time sleeping at night. But all things held constant (meaning didn't do anything, and was a routine day) I'd probably say I don't really easily fall asleep. I could stay up until 10pm or l1pm. Though when I lie down, I could easily doze off. I think the greatest way for a person to not have sleeping problems is if they try to practice this habit: sleep only when you're sleepy.

I never sleep easily when i am not tired especially if i have sip a strong coffee i could not sleep up to the wee hours of the morning. I observe i could only sleep when i am so tired and feel weak that i need a lot of sleep to regain my strength.

I easily fall asleep. It does not matter if I sleep early or late, the pattern remains the same. Sometimes, when I wait for others to be done with the household tasks after supper for our nightly rosary prayer, I lay down on the couch. It will only take a few minutes after that to hear me snore, lol. This is especially so after the badminton games I play regularly. I don't find it hard to sleep after staying so late at night (early am). As soon as I hit the sack, that's it. My problem though is I wake up at about the same regular time that I do (6am).

Hi, m. I can easily fall asleep very fast. I know that my son can fall asleep just as soon as he gets into bed. I will have to make sure that he is in the room by himself, with no T.V. on. And the lights have to be off too. And the room has to be quiet. If I do all this and come back, he will be asleep. In 15 minutes, top! With me, if I am very sleepy, I will doze off instantly.. I will wake up in a few minutes, not knowing that I was asleep. I know when I finish eating, I get very sleepy and then I am dozing off. My husband teases me about how fast I go to sleep after eating. Especially if the meal was a big meal..

It all depends on how late it is. If I'm really tired then I almost always fall asleep instantly. However there are nights when I really struggle to enter the land of nod and that's when I have a lot on my mind. It's not good to go to bed with lots of problems and issues on your mind. I would love to know if there is a technique to empty the mind prior to hitting the sack! Otherwise, I sleep reasonably well! Andrew

If I have a confortable bed I will fall asleep really quickly, maybe in less than a minute. The fact that I'm very busy through the day helps, as I'm pretty tired by night. However, if where I try to sleep is a chair or somewhere unconfortable, is completely impossible.

I fall asleep as soon as I get into bed, and sleep soundly with lots of great dreams. I love sleep. I have always been a good sleeper, but it helps not to have small children, lol

... I also envy those people who fall asleep easily.. coz I am not the one. I have this insomnia and it's so hard for me to fight this problem in sleeping. Well what I do is that I drink warm milk, have some warm bath too before going to bed. These helps me a lot.

That is good for your first son. He got the natural ability to remain calm and successfully maintaining his habit of sound sleeping. He sounds like me because I have no trouble to sleep when the time needs it. Sometimes, when I had a rough day or so busy thinking about something, it will not be as easy as it is. Remember just one thing that sleeping can be a great healing process to maintain our health. Leave your brain in relaxing mode and everything will go with the flow.
