I think dogs should not have choke collars. I find that people who do this to their dogs mean well but I think it hurts the dog. I think they are wrong and should not be on dogs. To me it is animal cruelty. I feel so sorry for those dogs that have a choke collar on. To know everytime the go to far they are choked. I can't stand the thought of that. After awhile of that a choke caller can dig into their neck if jerked hard enough. It is so sad to see people put these on dogs. It really bugs me a lot!

I don't think that using a choke chain for a dog is kind. I think that it is a cruel sort of collar that hurts a dog. I feel sorry for any dog that has to go out for walks wearing a choke collar. The best thing to do is to take a puppy to socializing parties at the vet and then on to a puppy training. Then hopefully the dog would be well behaved and could wear a soft collar. If a dog pulled a soft harness can be better than a soft collar. I have two miniature poodles called Secret and Magic. I love dogs and I like to see all dogs treated with kindness.

it is 100% correct.dogs arent supposed to be subjected to such cruelty after all being such loyal and faithful creatures to their masters.they bark when they feel others are approaching their master and if the masters keep on choking them while they do that, they start becoming afraid to bark and eventually stop barking.that would also be bad for the dog as i know of people who even dump their dogs thinking their dogs are useless without barking.
