Conscience Won't Let Me Let Go

I'm the type of person who doesn't usually like to cause trouble, so when someone does something to me that I don't think is right, I usually forgive them or say that's ok, or something like that. Recently I've been waking up in the middle of the night from bad dreams about the situation. I'm still baring a grudge about the think I told the other person was OK. Is this normal? Is there a better way to handle such situations so that I don't keep having nightmares?

It seems to me that something is troubling you about how you handled the situation. You may need to talk with that person again and be more truthful. That whatever they did to you is not ok. It is bothering you. Not handling something truthfully can trouble our conscience and cause us disturbance. I wish you peace!
