Yes she is! Ana Ivanovic is more than just a pretty face. She got a beautiful game and her forehand is devastating. But after winning French Open 2008 and ascended to No.1 ranking, she got injured and started to fade slowly. She struggled to win a match and the biggest disappointment is she suffered early loses. Will she be able to regain her top form that give her French Open title and No.1 ranking?

She is my current favorite player so I hope she will recover from her several injuries and regain her confidence in her serve. I would like to see her back at the top and to live up to her potential and win several slams.

Ana is a popular player on the Women's Tour. I believe she needs to focus on her game to move up and reach the finals of the tournaments more often. Too bad she keeps having to prove she's not another pretty face on the tour.

I believe she'll be back. She took enough break to realize things out. The improvement in her game is quite impressive except for her weapon, her serve. Her serve is a killer, it can do a huge damage in a single match most especially when she hit a lot of aces on her second serve. Hopefully, she can employ it again including the confidence and we can see again her trademark fist pump.

Yes, she did look a good player at the French Open. But we have seen so often in the women's circuit females winning one Grand Slam here and there and then vanishing from the scene. We will need to wait and watch how she performs next year. The women's circuit this year has really been funny. Dinara Safina was the world number 1 for most of the year without even winning a single Grand Slam. Cheers! Ram

I hope she is, because she can dominate with her game. The lost of confidence and too much perfectionist damage her game much. I really hope she regain her top form in 2010 season. I agree with you Ram! WTA 2009 season has been very funny and I might disappointed. For two consecutive years, two women have been ranked No.1 without even winning a Grand Slam title, Jankovic and Safina. Poor girls, they never took advantage of the time that Henin walk away from the game for at least a year. Now, the former No.1s from Belgium are coming back and even stronger than before. If Ivanovic and Sharapova are totally recovered from injuries, then WTA 2010 season will surely have a healthy competition again, at least...

Yes, we want to see all the stars injury free at least in the Grand Slams. That is what makes a good viewing. Cheers! Ram

ivanovie used to be good, not anymore. there are lot of looaholes in her game, and also there are better players around than her now. she has her days when she won GS, but now i dont see her doing anymore wonders, i think she is not even in top 10 nowadays? and i am quite sure she wont be able to make it to number 1 again.

Ana Ivanovic, is the most favourite womans tennis player for a lot of people. She is not only beautiful, she also had a beautiful game. It is quite unfortunate, that her game has been on a down hill for most part of 2008 and 2009. I hope that she makes a comeback in 2010. We need more people like Ana Ivanovic, who is more human, than the zoombies who are dominating Woman tennis today. I also add Maria Sherapova as a zoombie in my list.

Hopefully in 2010 we can see the same old Ana Ivanovic that plays her game well including its improvement. And we see the new Ana Ivanovic more relaxed and knows how to handle pressures well. She's talented enough and it seems out of time to experience hiatus after she ascended to the top. "Robots" are getting close to dominate the game, hopefully it won't happen.
