Did you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, what kinds of great deals did you find? My husband, my sister, and I always go shopping on Black Friday. It has become a really fun tradition! This year we found SO many great deals! Some of the items we bought were an $18 microwave at Walmart, a regularly priced $140 Down Comforter at the Bonton for $20, tons of movies and games that were under $5, etc. I was really impressed with the necessities that were on sale this year and not just all the electronics, etc. What kinds of awesome deals did you find this year on Black Friday??

I sat at ToysRus with my mom just so I could get a stupit zhu zhu pet for my daughter. The first 100 people in line were guarenteed to get a zhu zhu. My mom and I were 9th and 10th in line, we got there at 6pm on Thankgiving and waited for the store to open at midnight. About 10 minutes before the store opened, people were trying to cut the line for a zhu zhu pet (the coupons were already passed out though). I wasn't able to find any zhu zhu pet accessories because the teenage boys in front of me grabbed it all just so they can sell it on ebay. I had to hear them brag about how much money they were going to make on them. I wanted to get the accessories for my daughter and here they were trying to make a profit. I will find these stupid toys eventually, and I refuse to buy any of them on ebay!

There were so many deals this black friday that i couldn't even get, but i did try to get them as i was jsut to late on getting to some stores as many movies were gone and clothes were already gone. I did get a 32" TV for 247 at Target and i also got some Sheets at target for 12 dollars and then some other things at target for the kids. I also got some 5 dollar shirts at target and a bathing suit (I live in Florida) I also went to walmart and got some shirts there for 3 dollars and then a vacumn for 20 dollars. There were so many good deals and i had a great time shopping. I went to the pacsun in the mall around town here and went to go get these subaru ken block shirts that the boyfriend wants and i got to late and they were gone. I will have to order them online and hopefully today cyber monday i can get a good deal on some.

Sounds like you got some great deals! I'm laughing about the bathing suit as I sit here in NY - wearing a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and 2 pairs of socks AND covered up with a blanket!! LOL

I never go shopping on Black Friday. I can't stand being in the big crowds. I had to work on Black Friday this year (I clean houses). My mother in law always asks me to go with her but my answer is always no. lol I just can't stand being in the stores and people being all mean and stealing stuff out of other people's shopping carts and stuff like that. I would rather pay a little bit more than go shopping that early in the morning and wait in lines outside when it's so cold.

I am not from the U.S. but I know of Black Friday. It must be really neat to save a ton of money from different competing retailers trying to make business. I have seen reports of Black Friday on the News. They made a lot of sales and had a lot of online sales too.

No, I did not go shopping on black Friday. I did that one year and it was so crowded. After seeing the Wal-mart employee who was killed because she was trampled on I am afraid to go shopping in fear that it could happen again. Also, I really did not have the money to go shopping. Money has been so tight this year and unless the economy gets better soon I have a feeling that things will get worse for my husband and I.

ah black friday. That was interesting. We started off our night at Toy's 'R Us. They started their sale at Midnight. Let me just say, NEVER AGAIN! We waited outside for an hr only to have people shop up at the last minute stand by the door and jump in line whenever they could. Then we had trouble finding the stuff that was on our lists because nothing was clearly marked. Then the checkout line was so long it weaved in and out the middle of the store and it took us 2-1/2 hrs to get to the checkouts. But, from there we went to walmart and got there a lot earlier then we would have. We were able to get everything on our list including a great priced laptop. i have wanted a laptop for as long as i can remember, now I finally have one.

My husband, myself and my father in law went to Wal*mart. My husband had to work so he stood in line with me for a few minutes before going to clock in. We were there at 3:30 ish in the morning. We got a TomTom (for us), A Mr. Coffee (For our great granny) and a computer (for us and his father)... All in all we got out of the store pretty fast! The Tom Tom was $59 The Computer $400 and the Mr. Coffee $13.99

Awesome! I was really impressed with how walmart let us in and didn't make us wait outside in line! Plus, they were quick at getting people through the check out lines!

I think it's only been in the last five years maybe, but our local wal*mart stays open all the time. Before it was a smaller wal*mart, and I think it closed. I've only been living here for the past two years, lol. We were swift in and out too, and I was impressed. It could have been worse, though we were there at 3:30 and out by 5:30.

Hi, Jennlk84! I did not go shopping on Black Friday. To be honest with you, I never heard of Black Friday until last week. I did not have any money to go. Maybe next year! I am glad that you found some unbeatable items that were marked down below price! What a great deal!

Honestly, I didn't go shopping on Black Friday that day. I simply couldn't squeeze in with thousands of crazy shoppers that day. I waited til Sunday, and I got myself a new desktop computer from Microcenter. It was cost around $400, and I love it.
