I would pray a lot that no ones get hurt while going home for a home emergency call. It happened once when one of my kids got accident at school. Damn, I was so worried that I prayed after I got the call and up to the doorstep of my house. And my prayers were all answered that day because the emergency turns out to be not a panicking situation. Have you ever experience this one too, praying while rushing to the hospital or home when someone call you from work?

I would pray while do whatever else I need to, if anything, to rectify the situation. Panicking never helps anything. Being prayerful calms me. I feel more connected with God when I pray. It has always helped me, not physically, but emotionally with difficult situations.

Your right, panicking never resolves anything. But when you pray, you felt that someone will guide you on the best thing to do in situations like this.

Hmmm this is interesting. I don't believe in God....but I remember that when my mom got into a car accident i prayed that she would be fine and she was actually fine. last summer I burnt incense and I prayed to god so that i could pass an important exam. As a result I failed it and 200$ was wasted. That's when I lost faith lol I guess it must be hypocritical of me to only believe when i am in distress.

It's not the God never answer your prayers. I think He really answer it. And his answer would be definitely a "NO". We don't expect that God would talk to us and say His answer. Its just how we have interpreted the outcome of our prayers. Please don't lose faith in Him.

Yeah.. I do pray a lot. Actually when my dad had a emergency hospital case, I was almost in my tears and praying to God on the way to hospital. I think its those moments which make us realise the greatest of God. I had done many prayers on that day. And my dad was fine. We forget our prayers very often and its only such situations which makes us remember about God and the power of prayers. :)

Yes, definitely! Whenever I get scared, I pray to God that everything's okay. I've definitely had experiences when I've gotten frightened and I had to calm myself down because I was panicking just to pray for everything to be alright.
