Hi bruce, there are two things you can do right now, get or try another job or get used to it. You've just mentioned that it is not your lifestyle meaning you're not enjoying what you are doing right now although you are earning but you are not happy, it feels great when you are earning and at the same time you are enjoying with what you are doing, the result is motivation, and if you have motivation, better result ang ofcourse good for your career. On the other hand, if you find it hard to switch job, you'll be forced to stay and you have no choice but to get used to it and only time will tell when you will start enjoying that job, but start by making friends, sometimes it helps since friends is one of the many reason why we are motivated and enjoying our work.

Oh, pity Bruce. Did you try to change your career? Identify what you are interest in before you pick a career. No matter how good is the position of the job, if you are bored and no interest with it, you might not go far. Try to find your interest job. Work happily with your interest in every single day in your life. Life is short, while we are working, we still want work happily and the right way is work in the field that we like. Good luck and have a nice day for you

Try drinking a lot of coffee or eat chocolates to stimulate your mood. Every ones in a while we get this feeling that were alone and lonely but it's not as bad as you think. If your problem is your job then look for another job that will interest you. But right now try the thing i told you and see for yourself. If it don't work, try fixing your resume and start applying for other jobs. Cheers!

hi bruce do you have family close by or friends who can visit you and be there for you? When you are lonely you do need someone to talk to. do you not like your job as a receptionist? could you make friends where you work so You would have someone to talk to once in awhile? If you don't like this lifestyle why not find the job that will give you what you want, and meantime get with your family.
