Dont you think Mylot should have a "scrapbook" or "wall" sort of a page?

No i dont think so...coz if mylot puut scrap buk or wall then wht will be the difference between mylot and those social sites....This discussions and all is a unique stuff and should remain like this only....Coz if we want to make frnds then we join social site and there are many of them and why those sites doesnt have such discussion forum stuff..So this is the difference..I think No...:-)..Anyway Happy Mylotting...Have a nice day

Mylot can definitely include a chat engine. It will be a nice addition. But I do not think, mylot needs a scrapbook or wall kind of a page. The messages option is all that we need to communicate with members and they are very personal. So there is no need to add anything of that sort to mylot. In any case, I am happy with the way the things are going here.

No I do not believe it should have as mylot is mylot and not Facebook or anything like that You are able to make very good Friends here without that as I have done over the last 4 years If I wanted to be on a site that had all this then I would join a different Site but I do not want any of that I enjoy mylot the way it is and it makes it unique

hi there, hmm.. these guys are not going to implement something like that, it is a little different from other social networking sites, other sites promote more of socializing with each other and have friends and interact with each other, but well this site is mainly made for discussing things and issues of interest, that is the sole purpose of this site so that we don't just interact with each other but get together and voice our opinions in discussions, that is why you will see discussions are everywhere and has been placed according to it's category, discussion is the soul of mylot and that is why they did not introduce much of scrapbook or wall sort of thing here and hence they wont ever introduce chatting here, though they have comment section where we can leave something for our friends here...

Hi Crazybubu, Nice idea and innovation. but i think this is already existing in other social networking sites and one of mylot's unique feature is being focus on discussion. it will divert the purpose of a discussion site to another social marketing site. but who knows this can be considered...

Hi,bubu well, i think your discuss is very interesting. Sometimes we couldn't exchange ideas timely, and the equation of time in different areas also is a problem. But mylot is a forum, not a chatroom.

Quite honestly, I wouldn't be interested in such a feature. We already have the ability to leave comments on our friends' profiles, if we wish to do so, and we can send them private messages. That's enough for me. I spend the time that I have available for myLot posting in the discussions and doing the writing tasks. I actively avoid social networking sites (like Facebook) that detract from my ability to stay focused on my work goals so I don't think I would take advantage of the chatter that would be involved with having a "wall." Not saying that others don't enjoy that kind of thing It's just not something I would use.

Hi crazybubu, While any new feature on a site is always welcome, I don't think having such features to myLot would be viable. Since the site is an earning site, such features would be open to abuse with people postings referral links and such. The site is already being abused by a lot of members who sign up for the sole purpose of earning. So any new features would entail a lot more work for the Admins of the site and us the members.

That so nice and I do love them to have a chatting tab just like in facebook so friends could connect. And they would know who is online so that they could invite each other to make a longer reply to their friends discussion.

yeah it could be a good option. people can know others well this way. online chat engine is a good thing bt if we get paid for this then it would be even better.

I am completely happy with mylot the way it is. Chatting and wall and scrap are all the reasons why I stay away from the social network sites…I feel all these create clutter unnecessarily and distract us with frivolous issues AND the kind of words that go across in a chat session… Mylot I feel is for more matured people and for serious stuff and at least one place should stay like this for like-minded people.
